Flacco down for the year, we have to redo is contract. Will we be drafting a QB, very possible, hard to give a new contract with a bad knee. Tough time fans but these are our Ravens and I will always love them!!!!!

Bad news about Joe. Tyrod would look good now in a Ravens uniform. He's the #2 passer in the AFC and #3 in the NFL. I guess we'll find out what Schaub has left in the tank.

What made me sick about this game is seeing how many empty seats there were in the stadium. I would love to be at that game win or lose but 1/3 of the seats empty. No excuses. We will be there over Christmas for the steelers game and pulling for my Ravens. Get well Flacco and Forsett. Flacco one tough son of a gun to finish the game. Go Ravens

I don't think every fan realizes what a blessing it is to sit at the bank and watch our guys (even when we may not be playing well). It's something you start longing for once you no longer live in the area.

@SCravenfan that's what happens when fans are used to winning but suddenly after almost going to superbowl, we become bottom feeders. That is worse than if we were bottom feeders last year and stayed one this year. Now the attendance should be even worse with flacco out unless the ticket prices go down

our offense is not suited for his skill set plus lets see where he is ranked by seasons end.

Same here, I'm with you...support your team, no excuses! If you don't support your team and they go elsewhere, well then, the city deserves that if they aren't showing up to games. What Balitimore (city) doesn't realize is how this just reflects on them, not the team. The team is doing all it can, it's not perfect but they are giving their best. And it keeps getting harder and harder for them but they keep the strong attitude and calm among them...yet fans bail...shame on fans.

Really? Could you explain why our offense is not suited for his skill set. He can make all the throws; deep, intermediate, and short. He is very accurate, very smart, and very athletic. What type of offense are we running, that disqualifies such a QB?

I watched the game and saw that Joe limped at the end of the play. Didn't think anymore about it since he came out a finished the game.I saw the last part of a ticker at the bottom of the screen. Came to this site and found out he's out for the year? Shocked is putting it mildly.

Noticed Eugene Monroe was conspicuously out of the lineup as the game went on. Having the entire starting left side of the line out with injuries, from center to tackle, made this a dangerous work environment for Joe. In fact, it was Hurst rolling around that injured Joe's leg. Defense earned a game ball this afternoon, and overcame a rash of penalties (most earned, some questionable).

for every good move the wizard has made he has made bad moves as well. eugene monroe is awful and cost us a pick and lots of $$. bad drafts plus letting too many of our younger players walk when some should have been resigned. time for decosta to have more of a say moving forward.

Now that the WORST possible injury has happened to our team, let's just get through the rest of the season..... I will now refer to this terrible, awful season as the "Murphy's Law" season ........ JUST. GET. IT. OVER. WITH.

MOST ticket holders DO NOT feel that way.  I was there just a couple of weeks ago.  MOST stand behind this team through thick and thin.  Talk to anybody that was there...  They love their Ravens...  they aren't the bandwagonwrs.  Those are home on their couch.

Truthfully.......I would have rather lost than lose Joe and Justin to year ending injuries. No more injuries!! :surrender: This year has been a wash. Let's hope next year will be a better one!!

what really terrifies me is if this bad luck run carries into next season, also, where is morgan? thought he would have been on the field for a play or two by now

I genuinely don't think there's been another team this year with such high levels of bad luck. Really hope Flacco eventually makes a full recovery. Don't like to see anybody suffer injuries like what Flacco and Forsett have experienced today as they appear to be two such nice people and things like this affect their lives outside of football and not just on the field.

In this lost season, a win is a win, but, more importantly, both Flacco and Forsett were lost for the year. At this time it is time for the Ravens to see who fits their plans for next year. I think Buck Allen did a fine job as the main running back. Now, lets see who else can play. Brandon Williams, Crocket Gilmore, and Mosley all get my vote. Otherwise it is a crap shoot. I hope the Ravens use the rest of the year wisely.

I was at that game and watching it, I was under the opinion that Flacco's turnovers were costing us the game, but once I found out about the injury I have so much respect for him. They announced that he had an ankle injury to play of his mobility, but he was playing through it to get the win. On a 2-7 team, You have to have respect for that. This is our QB. You have to get the right talent and coaching around him, look at what he is doing with nothing.
