Flacco out for season

Not that I ever think an injury to a player is funny or beneficial, but this has reached a level of laughter. At least pick 6 shcaub won't huet our draft picks. Imagine if we win with him.... Smh

what scares me is another ridiculous injury..i'd rather we played scrubs and left our good players like Yanda, Mosely and Hill out..i don't think i could take another ACL or Achilles crap

Who signed Renner from our PS?

No one.  He's been chilling out on the FA market for awhile now.

Again ill ask with Shaub being the only QB who will back him up?? Whats the name of the guy on our practice squad??

We had Renner, but they released him.  I saw him as a young Flacco.. can we get him back?

And at least this happened in a year we weren't going anywhere anyway. It would put salt on the wound if we had top seed or something.

Regardless, get well soon joe

Torn acl and mcl and he was still playing!

Flacco is one tough dude.

Get better man.

Hope this doesn't become some lingering thing for him. That's pretty bad. :(

Good point. Could you imagine if our studs stayed healthy and we were looking to make a deep playoff run and this happened? It sucks either way but the fact that the season is already over takes some of the bite out of the news. Plus it helps our leverage when we re-structure Joe this offseason and boosts our draft position. This is still terrible but there are a few silver linings.

Why is our star QB playing in a season that is obviously over?

Now we have to tank.

What team actually pulls their starters in week 11? That's unheard of.

We scored 13points and won..Flacco is not end all be all.

You still need a ton of players to grow and mature and get exp for next season. Still need to see how our season pan out.

Crying to tank the season for #1 draft pick is a sorry way out.

I want us to try. Too much pride for our guys just to lie low and accept getting punched in the face and forced to stay in the corner...

Thing is....these aren't the guys we are use to....the ones that play with pride and won't go down without a fight no matter the situation.

At least not yet

Winning does ABSOLUTELY NOTHING for us though, it actually hurts us at this point. If Flacco didn't go down, like I said in a prior post I see us fighting it out and winning a couple more games and likely that will still be the case, but at this point winning with backup players makes no sense, although it will be nice to see Buck with a full workload and he will have plenty of opportunities now

If I was Ozzie, Dick, and Harbaugh sitting with 3 wins, I would play super conservative, still work hard, and see what we have in our rooks.

But I KNOW we will grind out a couple more wins, but after all the turmoil and heartbreak during one of the most outrageous injury plagued seasons in history...if we end up winning 3-5 more games for example and end up drafting in the top 15/12 instead of top 5/10 that's gonna mean us losing out on a potential franchise player.

I'm definitely overreacting to an extent but man we need some type of bright light at the end of the tunnel and the more we win the dimmer the light gets unfortunately.

Thankfully, just like Brady, Joe's more of a pocket guy so he won't be putting as much strain on his legs or anything when he comes back.

I knew that if this Front Office continued to pretend that James Hurst is an NFL player Flacco would get hurt.

Now who knows if he will be ready week 1 or if he will ever be the same.

I want the same for us. These guys damn well better go down swinging. But at the same time...the inevitable top 5 pick is looking really good right now

It's a good thing we aren't doing much of that then, lol...don't sweat the draft picks man...JJ Watt wasn't a top 5 pick, hell Flacco himself wasn't either. Franchise players can be had anywhere in the 1st; it's up to us to draw that potential out of them.

All these young guys are playing for a roster spot next year, they better play their butts off

You really can't be serious. You can complain about your starting QB getting hurt at the end of a 48=10 game, but you play out the season with your best players.

What, do you think we should have been giving Schaub time to see if he's our future? Please.

Gotta resurrect this from the game thread....A discussion had...  It really irks me that our fans are bashing players when they play badly, but then are rooting for us to lose.  It's crazy.  But, losing guys like Joe and Justin isn't the way to do it.   We cannot have it both ways guys.  Baltimore is a city that fights.  It's always been a tough blue collar town.  I'm not losing for a stinking Draft pick.  That's just crazy too, and I guarantee you our guys don't feel that way either.
