Flacco out for season

You trying to say he would choose crap/Gabbert over Flacco?

Some on here would, obviously....  and it's ridiculous too.

I'd love for those people to join the forum mock so I can make a ton of trades with them ;)

Deion Branch was TRADED back to the Patriots by the Seahawks...  He didn't just up and decide he "wanted" to go back and play for N.E.  Their roster was decimated, just like this year.

I can't be sure but it sounds like he jumped on the chance to return to New England.  Not only that but when Tom Brady makes a personal phone call to try to bring you back, i think its safe to say that they had that kind of relationship and strings were pulled The first time he came back.

He wasn't traded every time.  he came back even after being cut.  I wonder if we can get Derrick Mason back for Flacco?

Be careful my friend.  This is not the Baltimore Ravens site but rather "I love me some Flacco " forum.  Anything you say can be used against you if it is perceived as anti-Flacco.  Many here want you to worship a mediocre QB anything less is unacceptable and comes with warnings.  How about we rename the team to "Joe Flacco and the Ravens". LOL!!!!

Wow, i already got warned.  Thanks for the info.

In regards to Flacco he's not as bad, or as good as people make him out to be. He's slightly above average with a few great moments.

I started this off by saying; "we could use another QB in the mix".  If your following this thread, you see how its going.

Do to our QB (Flacco) not spreading the ball out.

haha....first of all, it's "due" not "do", secondly, I've already debunked that false baloney claim. Thanks for playing though

Dude's probably 42. I think Perriman has a better shot of coming back for Flacco.

How did this thread get to 37 pages after two weeks of Matt Schaub? My head hurts.

Is there a setting I can activate so I don't have to see this thread? Kinda like my blocked users list?

Reminder: as someone previously pointed out, this thread is about Flacco. It is not about lovers vs. haters, who is stupid, or what goes on with other teams. Thnak you.

You trying to say he would choose crap/Gabbert over Flacco?

He would choose the money trail and if that brings him closer to Baltimore than so be it.   Nothing more to say about it.

If so, it's not because of Flacco but rather because his home base is in Virginia.  Very close to Baltimore.

It's pretty well known that Torrey LOVES Flacco, so uh...no.

I thought he would choose here because his base in VA. Again, you think if money is the same would it be Flacco or crap/Gabbert?

If the money was the same, I think he would be with the Baltimore Ravens.

So..."Virginia", did you ever come up with any more examples other than Branch? Of course, we'll ignore the fact that Branch was unemployed and happy just to have a job and took the ONLY offer thrown at him, and nothing to do with choosing to play with Brady over anyone else (after all, Branch's words were, "having an opportunity to get back and play with the organization where I started"). Just interested to hear of more examples of how recievers choose to go play for a team just to be reunited with their former QB. Thanks!

Actually I had one particular poster in mind and it wasn't you. Nice try though. lol

cool ill take it back lol.

nope no silence, just haven't had a chance to reply.

The only post I can see from tru in the last 10 pages made towards virginia was saying the 120mil contract figure is deceiving...

No, that's not big impartial like he says he is.

im sorry but i find paying my respect to a family member that died a lot more important then being in the middle of a discussion on this forum.

it also does not help that im in a different time zone which usually means that if there is a discussion taking place , i usually wont see it untill the next day

when i made my replied 10 pages back it was 9 in the morning my time and i was @ work.

my very next reply on this forum came yesterday midday....

seriously man smh.

I've been following Cam vs Flacco this year, and surprisely up until the injruy their stats were comparable. The difference? DEFENSE keeps the Panthers in the game until Cam can get a drive going.

Need a reference? Watch the Panthers vs. Cowboys game. Cam has SOME...though not much.

This isn't really up for discussion, Flacco does not have much in the weapon arena or a defense that can keep him in games.....just look at the season and the stats he's been putting up and we still lose..

Torrey would have been here if he developed into a true game changing #1, we let Boldin go thinking that was going to be the case.

Torrey is very good, just not that

It's like some of you don't even watch the games? There are 6 players in the league RIGHT now with superbowl MVP's and Flacco is one of them.

Is that not enough for you? Do you want Rivers? I thought the goal was to win chips, and we clearly have the guy who in the playoffs becomes ALL of that contract.

None of us need advanced stats or to worry about other QB's with better weapons when we had the Pats by the throat over the last couple of years in the playoffs, something Manning in his PRIME with a HOF cast on offense couldn't do.

What are you talking about?  Branch was acquired from the Seahawks during the 2010 season, in a trade, in exchange for a 4th round draft pick in the 2011 draft.  He was then quoted as saying he was happy to be back on the Patriots.  What do you expect a person to say when they're on a team?  That they're NOT happy to be there?  Your whole argument is full of holes and misinformation on this.

Why would you even bring up Derrick Mason?  He's 41 years old and out of the NFL for 4 years, and was CLEARLY *done* during his last season in 2011.  He played 1 season in the NFL after the Ravens dispatched of him, and he wasn't good.  It was a significant drop-off from his previous 3 years playing with Flacco as his QB.  Then, he retired.  I just don't understand what he has to do with anything in this discussion.

He better dang well be throwing that ball around that recovery room.

But he can't plant his left foot remember?  ;) I am convinced as tough as Joe is, he'll surprise everybody with his recovery timeline and show up for OTAs fully healed and ready!

I'm surprised no one said that the surgery was only servicable and "slightly" above average... :P

Lol. Get better Joe
