Flacco out for season

856 posts in this topic

That would be pretty special considering an 16-0 team would be on a bye and not play in the 1st round

B)

Lol I mean the first round they play.

But if they could somehow lose in the WC that would be great too. Lol.

This is the most cursed season I have ever seen....

The fact that this dude played through a torn acl and mcl is insane. I will never get mad again when it seems like he is emotionless on the sidelines..the guy wants to win

Get well soon

Everyone should blame me. I've had the jersey curse going for a few years now.

I bought a Ray Lewis jersey before the '12 season ---> he retires

I bought a Rice jersey before the '13 season ---> has his worst season yet and...you know

I bought a T. Smith jersey before the '14 season ---> has his worst season since his rookie year and leaves in FA

I bought a Flacco jersey before the '15 season ---> tears his ACL, ends his streak

No more jerseys for me. Ever. EVER.

How about you only buy jerseys for the guys in the Ring of Honor?  I am sure you would love to have an Ed Reed jersey!

Get well soon Joe. Or all the Flacco bashers Schaub will probably fall in the long line of Stony Case, Anthony Wright, Tony Banks, Trent Dilfer, Kordell Stewart, Elvis Grbac, Kyle Boller, and some of the other dumpster fire QBs we have had hello 1st pick. Hope that list doesn't bring back a lot of nightmares.

I want them to finish 16-0 and lose in the first round.

Amazing amounts of respect for Flacco that I'm seeing from ALL fans except for those trashbags.

lets see Brady tear that ACL again classless Patriot fans ughhhhhhh I hate them worse than Steeler fans, I know that will probably get me kicked off the boards for hating something worse than the Steelers lol

Yeah, even the Steelers fans I've seen around have been saying it's a tough break and that kind of thing. But then, our rivalry with them was always built on mutual respect. The Patriots are just classless, arrogant blowhards. And their fans are even worse.

Be great to see them stumble at the first block, but that's the fine line between the best case scenario and the worst. As great as it'd be to see them get humiliated early, it'd be insufferable if they won a Lombardi off an unbeaten season. If I were given the choice between that and literally sticking needles in my eyes, I'd take longer to decide than I'm proud to admit.

Ugh, that pressure up the Middle is why that happened. I could tell it was bad by the way the next 3 plays went. U just knew he wasn't gonna throw it, he barely could hand it off... Jeez.

We'll this will effect the contract, so you all that were screaming about your contract will get your wish. I just hope this isn't the end of Joe, cause I really love me some Joe Flacco.

Especially when you consider no person on this planet would agree to be paid less just so their coworkers can be paid more.

Restructure does not mean pay cut. He may, and likely will,  restructure in a way to get paid more but with a lower cap hit.

We never tore Brady's ACL. Not sure how it's karma.

It's probably because we "tipped off" the Colts about the footballs. I can't stand that fan base, ever since that game where Torrey's brother died and they were saying rude stuff to him on social media and what not. Totally classless and they think they're so high and mighty compared to everyone else. They probably got it from their cheating QB whom I can't wait to retire so the NFL can have dignity again

Heartbreaking. Heartbreaking for Forsett too. I'm going to puke when I see Schaub take his first snap.

80yd bomb to Givens for the score

The nfl will always have a stain on it as a whole as long as kraft owns that franchise and billicheck is allowed to coach

He won't restructure at all most likely, because a restructure without a pay cut doesn't do the Ravens any good.

He will sign an extension, not restructure. However, most fans think that at $20M AAV he is overpaid, which is likely what his extension will be worth.

Yes, his cap number will be lower in 2016, but I'd bet its still going to be in the $18-20M range, which will be by far the highest of his career.

The people that say he "should take less for the team" mean that literally. They aren't asking him to restructure his deal for 2016, because that makes 2017 and 2018 worse. They are quite literally asking him to sign a new deal that will pay him less, which isn't likely in my opinion.

nah your cool dude- I think most fans have begun hating the patriots more than the steelers recently. Atleast the Ravens and steelers respect each other.

You just need to pick someone we want to get rid of maybe a Hurst or Monroe jersey. I am so mad about how Monroe has turned out I thought he would be good. I have the same luck bought a Boldin in 12 Torrey in 13 and now I quit

This could be a blessing in disguise. This will definitely get us that top 5 pick- I just hope he can make it back for next September. Anybody know the general recovery time? I've heard 6-9 months? Anyway it sucks that our receivers won't be able to get comfortable with joe during ota's and camp. Well hopefully he's back for camp. He's still relatively young and in good health I think he should recover pretty quickly.

Ed Reed is my only non-cursed jersey lol. First one I ever bought back in 2009.

Yeah, this win sucks.  I feel no glory in it.  I am not talking about a stinking draft pick either.

It came at far too high of a price.  Flacco AND Forsette.  SMH.

Flacco haters I am just gonna quote Tom Keifer from Cinderella,
"Don't know what you got, till it's gone "

As far as Shaub and the rest of the season is concerned, I still hope we win out.  I still wanna see our players play their rear ends off.  I still want to beat Pitts-burgh.  ( am going to that one )

I am sure Joe will be fine.  He is just THAT kid of guy.   He will work hard, he will follow the doctors advise.
Joe will be back and he will be just fine.

Let's not forget Forsett's injury people. Yes Joe has been fortunate to this point with as many hits as he has taken over the years. Remember that both Brady and Manning already wear knee braces so they've had their share of hits too. Now let's just pray Joe and everyone else on IR can make it back for next season!
