Also Disappointing to see Jimmy smith in the red week after week in the pff grades.

Its even more disappointing to see Michael Oher grading higher at LT than Eugene Monroe. I can't believe he left the game nursing a shoulder he injured in college but that's what Harbaugh reported in his presser. If he's injury-prone, he needs to go. We need a reliable LT. Is Jonathan Ogden available?

I really don't understand the fans that want more meaningless wins. Who cares if we won, we're not going to the playoffs.

Its a tough call to make. I do understand and appreciate your frustration. I was concerned heading into this game that there could be some injuries given St. Louis' reputation regarding dirty plays and our abysmal record entering the game. I would probably have opted to rest some of the starters, including Joe. Hindsight is 20-20 though. That would have been erring on the side of caution and taking a middle ground between forfeiting the team's remaining games and going all out to win the meaningless games, or the "damn the torpedoes; full speed ahead" mentality, which our coach obviously espouses. He obviously believes we're still in the hunt. Hunt for what, right? Now, we're in a situation where 18 players have been IRed with season-ending injuries if my facts are correct. So, now we're in the unenviable position in which its "all hands on deck". While it is true that hungry dogs hunt best, I'm not sure how many hungry dogs we have left on this squad. 33% of our original roster players are "pups", that is, physically unable to perform. There are very few dogs left to let out so to speak. I used to love to hear Ray's pre-game "Who let the dogs out" hype. This will be a very challenging offseason to start to rebuild the team into a contender again and it will probably be a multi-year process.

I'll go with the bolded statement. I don't know what's his deal.

My husband was a kicker...  Truth???  That magic #51 is in his head.  He's missing that 51 yarder.  Hopefully he broke through it in the end of the game, but M & T isn't a cakewalk in the swirling winds down in the bowl.  BUT....  he's never missed them before now.  When he went for the final kick..  knowing the others went right?  We were thinking he would go left with it.

He's just gotta get through it.  Just like Haushka has done and some of the others.  Hopefully it doesn't come to that degree.  But sometimes things like that just get in your head.

Jeff Fischer has always been a jerk.

His team's are notorious. He's still upset because we went into Tennessee and knocked him out of the playoffs a few times.

He's far overrated as a coach.

harbs started it, fisher called out Mosley for that extremely late hit.

Ahhh. That makes sense. Yeah. I just read that Harbaugh called them dirty. They are, to be fair, but we haven't been a very disciplined team so it's legitimately a point of the pot calling the kettle black

Our players are at fault as well, but their guys were talking after every play.

I listen to the Ravens radio broadcast while I watch the game on TV, they were actually commenting about how much the Rams were talking..and to be fair how our guys let themselves get sucked into it.

Also, this isn't the first time a Jeff Fischer team has been called dirty. Seems to be a trend.

What a beast Brandon Williams is. He's excellent. For as much criticism as Ozzie gets, he picked some real knockout players recently.

One of the few bright spots on this team as a whole. I love Ngata, but BMW (Brandon "MONSTER" Williams) is making Ngata an after thought at this point.

The Bad: The 53 man roster is getting worst as the season progresses. Three wins, all by 3 points. The team is setting the wrong kind of records.

The Good: None to report at this time. Hey...where's Marlon?

Some other changes need to be made. There is Play Like A Raven, But also how about " Coach like A Ravens Coach ". Seems to me as I watch, the same old stuff keeps happening. Sloppy Tackling, Players out of position, or just plain Bad ( Wrong Overages ). This is especially true on the defense side. Time for a Coach change there. The other is the O-Line. Didn't like that coaching change when it was made. Dump him and get back to basics. Next time Flacco might get killed bedhind his schemes.

when did harbs call them dirty? He said before the game that he would address the situation with his team and we"ll leave it at that, and after the game he said that there was a scuffle which is not uncommon when these two teams play each other.some might call that insinuating but I don't see anything wrong with those comments at all.

Ugly game but a win.

Man, i am really excited to see Gillmore in the future, the guy is an animal.

Not only bigger and strong as a left tackle, he looks more explosive than his rookie year!! Now if Maxx does the same this winter spring and summer and adds significant functional muscle while leaning out he will be as good as any TE in the NFL!! I knock him for being soggy and fleshy but the fact that he can move like he does while carrying extra speed draining weight is a testament to his potential!! Peeps close to him say he was culture shocked by the speed and power of NFL players opposed to college. And he is on a mission to get stronger and leaner by sophomore year!! If he comes into 2016 looking like Colt Lyera or Tony Gonzalez he will be as dangerous as a #1 receiver!! Alshon said he shaved two tenths of a second off his 40 when he lost excess fat. If Maxx stays with a training nutrition regimen this offseason he will strike fear in defenses!! The ravens TEs will terrorize defenses. Gilmore will be the bulldozing blocker and coverage mismatch while Maxx is the seam threat that runs like a big WR and will command attention like a WR that can compete as a blocker as well. It wasn't a direct comment, more of a between-the-lines kinda comment.

“I saw the punter hit one of our guys dead in the back that they missed,” Harbaugh said. “I saw our guy retaliate, which is not what you want to see. Then I saw a free-for-all out there, which is not unusual against the team we were playing.”

What happened?

Nothing. Referencing how everyone jumped to the conclusion of how he's automatic from everywhere and how he himself, while seemingly a nice guy, his eccentricity occasionally has me thinking about Mike Vanderjagt.

Again, not saying you can't celebrate your good play or amp yourself up over your success at all. But people are salty on cornerbacks, wide receivers, linebackers, defensive ends for doing a little extra every time they make 1 single play. Just sayin

A win is a win is a WIN!

The thing is...I would like to see us run-the-table this season. Why not? What better way to honor all the players who left it all on the field and fell to injury? There is no better way.

I don't care if we win every game that we 'so-called' should have, could have lost. We've already lost enough games that we 'should have, could have won' all ready including the last playoff game we played.

I don't care if we miss-out of getting 'high' draft picks (that has never assured Superbowls for us). For example...

  • Ray Lewis NFL draft‎: ‎1996 / Round: 1 / Pick: 26 -
  • Ed Reed NFL draft‎: ‎2002 / Round: 1 / Pick: 26 -
  • Trent Dilfer NFL draft‎: ‎1994 / Round: 1 / Pick: 6 (however: took 6 years before becoming Raven F.A.
  • Joe Flacco NFL draft‎: ‎2008 / Round: 1 / Pick: 18
Well played. Just win baby! I like that! I like that!
GO Ravens!

I would love for the Ravens to make watching football fun again, but if they win out but miss the playoffs because of, say, that Jags game and also miss out on a high draft pick it will be like the last dagger into the heart of this lousy season.

Ricky Wagner has been a flat out steal in the 5th round!
