Rams vent thread- good, bad, really bad.

I can't be angry about the poor offensive play.

I can't be angry about the stupid penalties on defense.

I can't be angry about Tucker's misses. (he really isn't doing us many favors at home this year).

I can't even be angry about Flacco's horribly ugly 2nd INT.

Mainly because it seemed early on the officials were busy playing CYA for last week's blunder and seemed determined we were not to win this game.

But we did.

Now we are without Flacco and without Forsett. Do we have our entire starting roster on IR yet? It sure seems that way. Ugh.

Monroe should be the one to blame. Hurst is what was advertised...a backup.

Monroe in the other hand is getting softer, and his game is regressing.

Monroe's not even a player in my book, he's just a traffic cone.

He graded out as the Ravens BEST PLAYER last week and was playing quite well this week against Chris Long, amongst other very talented rushers. Don't have to like the guy because he's been oft injured, but don't knock him for poor play when he's been very good this season

What good is occasional good play when he barely ever plays?

So as of right now, we only have 4 of 11 of the intended starters on offense for this season still playing (Gillmore, Yanda, Wagner, and Aiken)??  Wow.

Aiken was not an intended starter. Perriman - Steve Smith

Is anyone else excited for the future of guys like Maxx Williams, Buck Allen and Jeremy Butler?  Butler may  not be on the team next year, but he looked pretty good out there today.  Allen looks more comfortable every week and ran well even behind a broken offensive line today.

I am and I would include Boyle, but he's for the moment.

Also, the defense looked pretty good outside of the broken coverage or whatever that was that led to a TD.

I am certainly exited for Boyle as well.  I really like when all 3 are in the game like last week, it creates a lot of mismatch problems.

The defense did play well, although that might have been indicative of the Rams poor offense too.  Webb has played better then expected so far this year and has stayed healthy which is encouraging for next season.  I am extremely excited for our defensive line moving forward, we cut Canty at seasons end and put Urban back in and we wont have to make any changes to that unit.

Our tight end group and defensive line are the only two groups that really don't need any changes for 2016

You know I was disappointing when I found out I'd be going to Basic Training before the season was over. But now , its not so bad.

Where are you going? I went two years ago. Fun times.

The good ... Run D. Yes, the Rams offense isn't great, but Gurley is special. We did a pretty good job of keeping him in check.

The bad ... Letting our frustration take its toll ... we clearly were bothered by some of the early game penalty calls and then just started letting our frustration get the best of us with some flagrant penalties later. There is simply a discipline problem on this team that doesn't appear to be going away anytime soon.

The really ugly ... well, that's a no brainer, isn't it? Not one but two crushing injuries.

On a positive note, nice to see Wes Welker continuing to drop passes in a losing effort. I wonder what his wife has to say....

Shocked we won the game. Horrible that it had to be Flacco/Forsett's parting gift to us. 3-13 looks nearly certain at this point. More than anything though I just really hope Flacco and Forsett can make full recoveries in good time, and hopefully it won't damage their long-term future.

Once again our super lame O line has caused issues. I realize starters are hurt , but they were not that good anyway.Having no depth in our roster at the O line positions has been terrible for years. Now this happens.

Watch the left side of the line in slowmotion get BullRushed on the "Flacco" play. Thanks Hurst.

The "Forsett" play , someone came clean, Unblocked to whip tackle him in the backfield.
