When can the NFL begin flexing games? I don't see our game vs. Seattle staying in the 8:30 slot.

...let us hope....unless the goal of NFL this year is to highlight the worst team in football... Edited by EAP-2K10

I DO NOT want the first pick. That means we're the worst team of the year and that's just too painful to consider. I can "handle" 3-5, but not #1. Go Ravens, take down the Browns!

The only reason I wouldn't want the first is because it might be hard to trade if you think the person you want isn't valued at 1.  Besides that, I don't care.  I want 1.  That basically sets you up with the 1st and 32nd pick in the draft(Pats pick taken).  Also sets up great position for the other picks and now you can trade comps.  I'll take the laughter as a we build a dominant team, if things go right.

might have to settle for 2-3

titans aren't going to win and jerry jones always gets ahead of his by 1 in the draft. make no mistake jerry is telling the team to tank now.

I am willing to wager this will be a blowout win for the Ravens. We'll put up the most points this season, and we'll blow the Brows out in this game. That is destiny because Lady Luck won't allow us the happiness of a top draft pick. We'll win just enough to fall out of the top 10 but won't have a chance at the playoffs either.

I'd like to see commanding win, but I cannot figure out who would score the points nor who would keep McCown from being at least competitive.

...no one cares...hope Ravens are watching Steelers vs Seahawks so they can learn how to play football...

Give up a ton of yards and points on defense and hope the offense can keep the game close.  The Ravens already know how to do that.

why we all focusing on the offense to win this game? why not the defense?

Couple pick six, 1 or 2 defensive score, keeping the Browns out of the endzone, eating up the clocks and limiting turnovers with pounding the ground all night long, and Tucker for the win....

I might be a bit late on this so if I am then my bad - I did see that your game got flexed off of SNF in favor of the Patriots/Texans.

Hope for a good, competitive game tonight with no (additional) injuries for both teams.  I'll post my thoughts probably tomorrow after the game but we'll see - feeling like crud.

Unfortunately, mediocre would be a step up for us right now

I know our defense looked good against a pretty bad Rams offense and all but I don't think we have to worry about them getting any pick 6s or keeping the other team out of the end zone

Given that I have no expectations, this could end up being a fun game to watch. I have a group of questions. First, will Matt Schaub be the starting QB until the season ends? If not, how many games does he get?

Next questions are about the LT and Center positions, and play calling in this new offense. I can't wait to see this game!

The need for a top quality (and healthy) LT may have vaulted itself to the top of the list of needs ahead of wr and pass rusher. These next few games will tell us a lot.

i disagree. Pass rush is the priority. Suggs will be done. We haven't replaced mcphee ( Z.smith looks like a scrub sadly) and doom will be 33 next year.

I agree that pass rusher is the top need.  Right now, the offense has exactly 4 starters that were projected as starters in August (Yanda, Wagner, Gilmore, and Juice).  The defense is only missing 1 starter and it's still the worst unit of the two.  Pass rusher is the top need on defense easily

You forgot Aiken.  Really the team was doing pretty poorly when all the starters on offense were playing.

Good catch. I was thinking of Perriman, but he didn't quite make it to August.

I really do understand your position, I used to feel the same but after thinking real hard on it I've come to the conclusion that protecting the qb has to be first on the list if you are paying him 20 million or more per year. Other than that, definitely a pass rusher
