McCown must be licking his chops...and not just for Thanksgiving dinner. The thing is, if the Ravens have a run like NE's the bandwagoners will jump ship and our fanbase will probably resemble theirs at least to some extent.

I will be interested to see if the majority of their fan base sticks around after the Brady / bellichek era and they return to a below average team.

Agreed but then they will live in their past success like many Steeler fans (at least the semi-loyal ones)

Yeah that is probably true.

Although this season so far has been an absolute ? this game is critical to the franchise. We've got to get this one no matter how many injuries, questionable calls, poor decisions, etc we've had.

GO Ravens!!! String it together...literally.

I actually think I'd prefer the Steelers to the Patriots tbh.

Agreed 100%. I would actively cheer for Pittsburgh in a NE/PIT AFC title game.

Monroe missed practice. KO limited.

We could potentially be looking at an O-line with Hurst, Jensen, Urschel, Yanda, Wagner (sounds like KO might play though). That coupled with our weak receiving corps and RB situation, I don't see us scoring a whole lot. Browns have a few injuries on defense though, notably Joe Haden.

Browns offense should still be as good as it was in week 5 though (McCown is a considerable upgrade from Manziel). Our defense is slightly improved since then, but still pretty bad.

I really don't expect much different from these Ravens vs the Browns due to what I've witnessed from them for 10 weeks straight now; with or without Flacco.

or the bengals. I'd be satisfied with the packers or panthers winning it. Keep it out of the AFC.

I would like Palmer and the Cardinals to take it all. Palmer deserves to go out on a Ring.

I would prefer any AFC team winning it over the Patriots. I wouldn't mind either the Steelers or Bengals winning it because we have the opportunity to knock off the Super Bowl Champs twice in 2016. The only problem with the anyone but the Pats is no team in the AFC matches up with them, and the only team that can actually knock them off in January is us.

So.... the Patriots are going to SB 50, barring some 9-7 run that starts Monday with a win over Cleveland and we somehow knock them off in the divisional round as the 6th seed lol.

I really don't think the Ravens would be capable of taking them (or anyone else down) in the playoffs this year.

Last year's team couldn't do it and this squad is demonstrably worse. Plus there won't be any post season magic from January Joe.

Of course, all this talk about the P word is ridiculous when Baltimore shouldn't even be favored against Cleveland.

When can the NFL begin flexing games? I don't see our game vs. Seattle staying in the 8:30 slot.

I wish they'd just move ALL our games to the typical Sunday 1pm time. Tired of waiting twitch games, we suck anyway.

As far as the conversation for who to root for against the Pats is concerned, looks like I'm in the VAST minority (go ahead and neg). I will NEVER root for the Steelers or Bengals in the playoffs. This INCLUDES against the Pats.

I am fairly certain that game will be flexed. The pitts-burgh game might stay. It does have that whole bitter rivalry thing going for it, but there is much more interesting and meaningful games that day.

Yeah, I just don't see us having any prime-time games after Monday.

Yeah, I think it will either be flexed in favor of Steelers vs Bengals or Falcons vs Panthers.

With Wright questionable and Arrington just not very good, I'd like to see Tray Walker play some snaps.

I have a feeling he is shaping up to be a H/W/S prospect who doesn't develop, but maybe I'm just being impatient. That pick reminded me of the Gino Gradkowski pick when they made it--a guy they could have drafted in the 6th or 7th round, but they chose to grandstand and take him in the 4th because they were so sure of their scouting and knowledge of small-school players.

This is the game we must lose to stay in the bosa sweepstakes. I think if we lose this we will 100% lose out.

Thankfully the ravens team thats heading out there today is probably with all the injuries a worse team than the browns.

I DO NOT want the first pick. That means we're the worst team of the year and that's just too painful to consider. I can "handle" 3-5, but not #1. Go Ravens, take down the Browns!

I would be okay if we drafted even lower. That would mean that we somehow won the majority of the 2nd-half of this season.

I still don't care if we miss-out on getting 'high' draft picks (that has never assured Superbowls for us). We've done it no matter how late we've drafted in the 1st round. For example...

  • Ray Lewis NFL draft‎: ‎1996 / Round: 1 / Pick: 26 -

  • Ed Reed NFL draft‎: ‎2002 / Round: 1 / Pick: 26 -

  • Trent Dilfer NFL draft‎: ‎1994 / Round: 1 / Pick: 6 (however: took 6 years before becoming Raven F.A.

  • Joe Flacco NFL draft‎: ‎2008 / Round: 1 / Pick: 18

GO Ravens!

Personally I see no difference between 7-9 and 0-16. If we didn't make the playoffs, I could care less how bad we did. Only difference it makes is bragging rights and bragging about a 7-9 season is stupid to me.

Yeah, pride is overrated when you're 3-8 with Matt Schaub throwing to Kamar Aiken behind a line featuring Hurst and Jensen. Let's just get our top-five pick and look forward to next season.
