Ring Of Honor

15 posts in this topic

So Ed is going into the ROH this weekend.

Well deserved of course.

So who is next?

The ROH is and should be a step above great players. Players who leave their mark on this franchise. We can list great players all day, but who is great enough to be the next in the ROH?

Two jump to mind and that's Mase and Billic.

I also thought about O.J. but that would have more to do with his off the field life.

Thoughts?

McAlister is the only player that comes to mind. Billick did orchestrate our turnaround and let his coaches coach. Mason imo did not play here long enough. OJ would be nice but yeah that would be more for the sentiment part of it. Ngata and Sizzle definitely but only after they retire.

Chris McAlister would be the obvious one. Ogden's partner in crime, Edwin Mulitalo would be a good edition. Maybe Jermaine Lewis. Rob Burnett, one of the few people of the original Browns' team that followed them to Baltimore that was on the 2000 team would be a good choice.

Alot of great players tbh.   I know Sam Adams and Goose might not be 'our' draft guys but they played like ravens.   Tough, always on task to do the dirty job and did it incredibly well.   Mason is another guy we didnt draft but became our guy.

Those 3 should be honored later in ROH, but way later in the line.

drafting a player shouldn't and isn't a requirement for the ROF. I for one believe SSS should get into the ROF. His accomplishments in just too yrs go well beyond what he has done in the field.

I forgot about Goooooose. McAlister, fits the mold for sure.

Not everyone in the ROH was drafted by us.  McCrary was not drafted by the Ravens.

I'll add Kelly Gregg in that spot too.  I still honestly believe he basically made Ngata  amazing.   Ngata best years was with Kelly next to him.
