Salute Ed Reed! You are one of a kind, unique and mercurial. If you couldn't take your eyes off Michael Jordan in his playing days, the same could be said of Ed Reed.

All around he might be my favorite Raven ever. He was a class act and played on a whole different level for a majority of his career. I always hoped he would have stayed healthy enough to break the INT record, but given the time he played in and the respect some of the greatest QBs and coaches of all time have given him, I think suffice for the GOAT label.

P.S. That 2011 AFC championship should've been the game that got us to back to back championships. I will swear by that forever.

I heard him on 105.7 saying the Ravens haven't called to ask him coach yet. Better sign him up for next year. If I was safety I would love to pick Ed's brain.

I get goose bumps just watching Ed Reed highlights. You always knew that if a ball was hanging in the air...#20 was coming down with the ball in his hands ready to take it to the house. Man... I miss that!

Coach Ed Reed - ever happen? ... That's the one we all want to know more about. What are his thoughts? Bigger role in college or a smaller role in the pros ... which would he prefer?

I know great players don't always make the best coaches - but I think that is a view based on success in coaching teams vs. coaching positions. I can't help but think he'd be a pretty decent secondary coach.

Edd Reed is Baltimore, he talks just like he was born and raised here and in his interview on the radio he is more than ready to help the Ravens out.

My favorite player of all-time. Nothing got me out of my seat like an Ed Reed pick. I miss that man so much. The Ravens need to extend him an offer to coach DBs right now!

I've only been to a handful of games but was fortunate enough to be at the game for Ed's 107 yard interception. The fans went nuts. The other highlight of that game was 1 of the Eagles players got tackled by his jock strap. I swear that jock strap stretched for yards while our defender was hanging on for dear life. M&T replayed Ed's amazing td interception but they also replayed the jock strap tackle over and over on the big screen and the fans went nuts over that too. So I witnessed the best play I ever saw live and the funniest play I ever saw live. A great day to have tickets for sure. Oh, and to top off a great day, a bunch of Eagles fans near me got ejected to roaring applause.

Watching the super bowl I saw Ed miss a tackle and hold his arm. It was really hurting him. I asking my grandfather why he was playing if it hurt him so bad. My grandfather said because he is a great player and the quarterback won't throw the ball any where near him. Now I know he was also a great leader and help win games by telling other players how to play the receivers.
