Osemele Out

So against a tough Rams' front, Ravens will have Ryan Jensen making first career start at LG; and John Urschel first career start at center

RIP Flacco

Isn't Monroe still injured as well? If so, that's Hurst and Jensen holding down the left side of the line. That's a scary thought. If the Rams decide to move Donald over a bit so he focuses on the left side, the Ravens are going to be in serious trouble.

Speaking of the Skins, as fans of this franchise, we should feel pretty fortunate. A lot of teams stay in the basement of the division for years, look at the Browns, despite high draft picks and talented players. The Ravens' position is temporary.

My dad is a skins fan, and Ive kinda felt bad for him over the years. Lol so I give him a little positivity and say, hey at least the skins have a better record than the ravens!

With that being said, go ravens! I don't see this being any different than the games we've had before. It'll be close and hopefully we're on the winning side of things this time.

Remember the 'Aints, and the fans wearing paper bags on their heads if they went to watch a game?  We Ravens fans are really fortunate to have had a history of winning, with two Super Bowl wins in twenty years.  I can not belittle any of our players, no matter how bone-headed a mistake may be made.  The Ravens are my team, and I support them win or lose.  Today we celebrate the energy and positive impact to Ed Reed.  I wish I could be at the Bank for this celebration.  Go Ravens!  Do your best, and don't hesitate to surprise anybody.

Final Prediction:

Ravens 24

Rams 20

Flacco finds Gillmore late for the game winning Touchdown and we improve to 3-7.

While I root for a win each week, I hope Smitty comes back next year, and we draft a first round Ball Hawk in April...

Edit:  I'm torn, but think we need defense more than offense next year...  Especially if Steve comes back...  Steve, Breshad, Givens...  Waller, Campanaro...Thinking we could be OK there.

@Mom Gene I couldn't agree more. We need to focus on shoring up our D in the first couple of rounds. With Sizzle's status unknown and Z Smith and Upshaw not being the pass rush forces we envisioned, and the fact that Doom is getting up there in age as well, we have a dire need for an elite edge rusher and an elite playmaker safety or DB. I am not too concerned about our receivers as we may be able to trade for a good quality receiver (hopefully). This coming year, I think we really need to be active in free agency.

As for being a Ravens fan, this is an experience unlike any other that we've had. I have been a Ravens fans since 1996 but haven't felt this way ever. When we had losing seasons, there wasn't such great expectations either. This year is so different in that regard. That is perhaps why. We've been winning so consistently for so long, this year feels terrible.

Now, let's figure out a way to overcome the Rams defense and put up 20 points. The team that puts up 20 wins this game.

Wow it's on Fox this week! Didn't know till just now.

Todd Gurley is going to make us look like Children...

But technically to him the only man on defense in the NFL is JJ Watt so this should be no surprise. He's a monster

I think we will keep Gurley in check for the most part although he could be a danger catching the ball

It's a sad day for an offense when your RB is also your best WR....

They need more options :P... As do we :(

Mildly frustrating because it means that those of us in the DC area don't get the game.

What a stupid setup by the NFL.

I still don't understand why we didn't try Welker out.

Agreed!  He looks to still have good energy on the field.

Because he and his wife disrespected the Ravens. Where have you been?
