[News] Ravens Confident They Won't Crack

23 posts in this topic

You know, eventually, the coaches and writers are going to run out of different ways to say this every week. lol. We get it. Never quit no matter how many times we or the refs shoot us in the foot. At this point I'm just watching to see some good development in the young players (e.g. the TE's).

Same old weekly performances...same old weekly rhetoric!

Well....if they're not backing up and not backing down, I guess that just leaves backing sideways.

Ha, that scene from Gladiator was awesome and I can picture all the Ravens players in that huddle. Standing there with spear or shield in hand, dropping one by one from Lions and bears until it's just Joe and Harbaugh standing in the middle.

Joe turns to John and with a Spock like demeanor and lift of an eyebrow, he says, "I don't think we're going to make it Captain"!

"Nonsense! It's just a scratch!" Replies John. We can still run the table and we only need 3 yards for a first down so, HEAVE IT 70Yds and let's get outta here!!"

This team isn't about to crack! I have total confidence that if Coach Harbs is given the horses they'll come back stronger than ever next year and continue to compete this season with vigor.

It is one thing to talk about not giving in but you also have to show this on the field... otherwise these weekly claims are just empty words. It's fine that the coaches still try to motivate players and try to win games but at a certain point it just needs a lot to keep you going.

this team is better than 2-7, bad luck, injuries lack of talent but this is not a 2-7 team.

Um..... Check our record we are a 2-7 team, really look it up.

This team is sorry :-). How in the the world we gave 22 points to Jacksonville at home and lost while the Titans only give up 9 points to the Jaguars so far. How the heck we lost to this team? This team needs serious help and especially coaching if they can't beat that team at home.

I pray that on offense we get SSS for a legit last ride, Perriman makes a tremendous splash and we nab another savvy vet receiver. Maybe even 3rd round pick on one. I'm curious to see Fournette and Elliot's draft stock on draft day. If they fell to bottom of the first, especially Fournette, I'd hope oz would move back into first round to get them.

On defense, please bring sizzle back with full health, also Pees has to go, Bosa early in rd 1 would be a gift from God too, if not, Ramsey or Hargreaves III would significantly help our blowing coverages every game streak. We need some nasty players to lay the hammer and some intelligent cover corners so that we can quit blowing 4th quarter leads.

2016 we will be reloaded and ready to go

Next year looks like it may be better, with the league allowing trading for compensatory picks. Ozzie has been the best at stockpiling those. This team has been snake-bit this year. It happens. They won't fold. We have good leadership all over the place. It's just one of those years.

"Dont ReInvent The Wheel"- heard Harbs say this a few times in the past. Funny thing is we did just that in the draft last season. We always draft BPA with Defense and build up our defense, and fill in the holes offensively via Free Agency and it always works for us. Thats What we do. Why get away from that? WHY? 2-7 now. IDIOTS

I agree with what the team is doing totally in this attitude considering circumstances. You can't be in a competitive sport and have a quitting attitude. You fight each week no matter what, and you play as a team. There is more than one way to assess football teams. They are a winning team on attitude, and it looks like they are having fun in general. I can see they hate to lose the games, but when you look at them on sidelines during games, they look very composed and not at each other throats. That says ALOT.
