[News] Breshad Perriman Explains Prolonged Knee Injury

45 posts in this topic

He should have been on IR from the beginning. I defend our front office and coaches often but the way they handled this is almost unforgivable. Somebody needs to be fired. Sorry you don't risk your first round pick by having him practice that early with partial tear, you sure don't let him try to open it up. This is almost as bad as the Deadskins handled RGIII. You ruin a guy's career with such incompetence.

The positive: It's good to know the kids a fighter. Overcame a physical ailment as a child. Years later he is an NFLer. It's good to know he has passion to play the game and a deep sense of responsibility-- his self admitted depression show that. If there are no further setbacks he could be a very productive player for the team. The negative: the unnecessary secrecy by the Ravens on the injury. It was a partial tear initially that was further torn in week 3. Why would you leave your fans in the dark about that. C'mon man! All Raven staff that were in on keeping the secret deserve to be castigated by the fans.

. Good luck Breshad, I hope you heal well and are ready for next season. I cant wait to see you on the field, especially if SSS comes back and Suggs is healthy. Next season are team is gonna be great, I have a good feeling about it. With a good draft and the mistakes we made this year behind us, our team will be ready for redemption next year.

ok...this season is gone for Perriman. Now we are back to whether he can actually catch and hold onto footballs in an NFL game....still to be determined.

First time getting to see/hear Perriman in months, and it is satisfying. At least we can put a voice with a face. He sounds like he can be a very big contributor to this team. I wish him a speedy recovery and good fortune for next season.

Although, we cannot go into next season with the expectation that he will be healthy for the long haul. We really need to get Flacco more weapons. As far as Im concerned, All of our current WR's, besides Smith are a liability. Even Waller has disappointed me, these guys cant stay in for more than 2 full games.

Read the last sentence of the article.

The last sentence from an article from November, when he said he'll be healthy next year?  Granted, we're not even 60 days into "next year"!! Yeah that makes perfect sense.  NOT!
