So the question is this. Can a referee still officiate in an unbiased manner after betting $10,000 on the game he's officiating that week?

How do you go 2-7 with a franchise quarterback. When a restaurant is doing bad you don't fire the staff you replace the management. Leadership at the top, then the new leadership sorts out the good and bad staff. Harbaugh these are you guys, you answer for this.

Good article...... Personally, I am pretty much feeling the same way as Ben. Not much else to say seeing how this season is playing out, and I am starting to believe that no amount of whiskey, wine, or Xanax can take the sting and stress away, but I still can't find it in myself to give up this year......... :)

Please don't listen to Ben Rosen. He may have a very valid point but still, ignore him. If you change your routine at this inopportune time, we may end up the season 9-7, miss the playoffs and get to pick at our traditional 21-24th position, amassing average talent. What good is that going to do us? Continue on with whatever you did thus far and continue to make the Gods detest us for just 7 more games. Then, we'll change everything up for next season!

He said he is feeling good but trainers and coaches felt that it would be best for him to lay low for rest of season because they don't think it would be worth trying to get him up to speed and risking further injury. He was overwhelmed with negative chatter and secluded himself. He is in a better place after speaking with his parents and he wishes that he could be out there. He was blindsided by a dark period following this "partial PCL tear" ( not sure if I got that injury correct). He is very optimistic about next season and doesn't believe (along with doctors opinion) that this will be an issue moving forward. All paraphrasing here!

As a fan, I understand fully that injuries occur every day, I just hope an organization can learn to communicate with its fan base clearly. Had he or someone else got ahead of this thing, we all wouldn't be in anticipation every week. Just wish him well and glad he finally spoke about it.

JOE is losing his luster. He is the the QB of this 2-7 team and I rarely hear him talk about winning. I hear him talking about sticking together, and doing this as a team. Put this team on your back and get it done. The Browns, Jags, and Bengals? Win in front of your fans. Our only home victory was against the 2-7 Chargers. Losing close games falls on the QB. Protect the football, Trust Tucker, and don't put the defense in bad spots. FIRE TRESTMAN.

I don't know if it is the gods or the NFL but perhaps in a moment of guilt the NFL looked at the schedule, and the refs calls, and every other way they shafted us and decided to cut us a break.  Adam Schefter and PFT is reporting the NFL is allowing teams to use compensatory picks to trade up in the draft.  The team to benefit is the team who is best at acquiring compensatory picks and that is the Ravens.  Hopefully this is a sign things may be turning around.  I know people have lost faith in Ozzie but I haven't.  I feel he is a product of a whole bunch of dead money (Rice and Ngata count for over 10 mil), late draft picks and the one time he picked above the late 20's he got CJ Mosley who is a great player.  Now give Ozzie a first or second, let him trade his 2nd round pick at number 33 or 34 and move back up inside the top 20 and he will get us two superstars.  Then his trade will get him a later second rounder and he can move up again with his 11 or 12 draft picks including his comp picks and snag a third guy before pick 40.  Don't throw in the towel on Ozzie yet as put him at the top of the draft and you will see he still has it.  If Ozzie gets two of the first 20 picks and three of the first 40 picks, we will be back in the thick of it next year.  I may waver from time to time, but when it comes down to it, Ozzie is the man.
