[News] Who's Practicing, Who's Not vs. Rams

42 posts in this topic

...at this point,it really doesn't matter "who's practicing and who's not." Either way, we're still gonna lose. I hate to sound like a downer, but I've just accepted the fact that worst team in the NFL this year. I don't even know if we'd beat the Lions at this point!! smh

I was concerned 1 of our TEs was injured since we signed a TE this week. I wonder if Boyle got hurt when he hurdled over defenders? Too dangerous to be worth the physical risk. No matter how or when the injury happened, I just hope Nick does not have a serious injury and can be back soon. He has done an admirable job on the field, especially for a rookie. Good luck Nick.

Really, at this point who cares.

I could get into the 8-0 run hype, even if i thought it wouldn't really happen. It would be fun to cheer on until it failed. I just didn't think it would fail on the first try. Honestly - the Jags?? Really?

yes, agreed we won't have to read about Perriman missing ANOTHER practice....

I Do hope I am way wrong in this... but feel that this guy put himself into the draft for ONE thing: the signing bonus! Seriously doubt he will EVER suit up in a Game uniform as a Raven.... oh well... ANOTHER First round draft bust....

On another note... very proud of Joe's statement about reversing result of Sunday disaster.. Joe took the high road... I hope we ALL agree that the darn game should NOT have been THAT close.... with only a few seconds to go... Our (non?) offense had a shot to earn ONE(1) first down... did we do that? nah.... on third down and 9 we threw a Four (4) yard pass.... Is this Trestman guiding our (non?)offense? don't most teams aim their 3rd down passes at the YARD Marker?!?!?!

The sad part is the team had the potential to be great this season. The schedule showcased the Ravens on National TV more often than a normal. Yet, in the end the Ravens mirrored champagne losing its fizz. Use the remainder of the season for tryouts (players and staff) for next season.

I know football is a rough sport and players on every team get hurt but doesn't it seem like The Ravens are putting a new player on each IR each week? Does the training staff need to be looked at? I'm sure they are doing their job but come on the last two years have been a joke with the amount of players that go on IR.

Boyle will be back on the field Perriman will not even be at the stadium.

Why break bad on a guy who really has no control over an injury???  He's only following doctor's orders.  Folks honestly believe that the guy actually doesn't want to play, and that's most likely miles from the truth.  He's actually been there... and working in the community alongside other players...

yes, i posted something similar a year ago. Something seems wrong there. Also, we should look at the WR & DB coaches. No matter who we bring in for those positions, they don't seem to learn anything.

Bring in Ed Reed to coach. Little League will have to wait.

It would seem that if the Ravens are running a TE-heavy passing attack, they would naturally be able to run more out of those sets. That has clearly not been the case.

I remember the loss to the Redskins in '12, the losses to the Bears and Bills in '13, and the loss to the Chargers last year. Man, I was screwed up after those games, because they were all playoff implicating, and just plain blown. But this year, just plain numb to it now. Talk about a Murphy's law type year. Can't wait to see what penalty, bonehead play or rotten call takes 'em down this week. But you know what, get everything out of the system this year. Get healthy, get the breaks, and it looks like a lock for 19-0 next year. Go Terps!

I thought that Jensen was the back up center and Urschel the back up G.... not sure why we hang onto guys like jensen, jah reid, etc when we have no faith in them??????????

Too many whiffs in the draft. Ozzie has to keep some of his selections or he would be shooting himself in the other foot

Guys like Jensen are still potentially needed ... they are "deep depth". Imagine, if KO were out this week - Jensen would likely be starting.

Honestly, I'd like to view this optimistically and say that it is our high faith in Urshel, rather than a lack of faith in Jensen, that has us using him as the backup for both positions. I think the odds are that Urshel is going to be a starter on our offensive line in 2016.
