[News] Chris Givens Out To Beat His Former Team

33 posts in this topic

I certainly hope Givens has a huge motivational chip on his shoulder and has a great game against his old team. I like what I've seen so far and I hope Givens will turn out to be a very solid long term player for the Ravens.

I hope Givens signs an extension and can notch out a spot on the roster the next few years. I like Givens better than the other options we have at WR now with exception of SSS.

Givens needs to just focus on making plays, because if he has a bad game he could be gone....Seems to be the common theme after a loss, Harbs cuts players who have a bad game......Shame some of the asst coaches are cut after bad games...;)

I hope Givens has a great game Sunday....

concerning our typical non-defense (IF?) we have a lead... perhaps the (management?) responsible for bringing in J Smith CB could be Fired? WHAT Exactly has this guy DONE ?

Stop Crabtree & the 49ers on 4th and Goal to WIN THE SUPER BOWL?

He will do well for us. As time goes by we will be more appreciative. He's already shown he can get open and catch. Joe just needs to be able to hit him in stride.

Not considering the fact that he was the #1 rated CB in football last year before being injured?

Joe mite mess this up for Givens! Joe is only good at throwing INTs and making excuses now and I really like him but I can't fake it any longer I blame this season on him just like that very very very bad pass against the pats! The squeelers beat the Cardinals with a back up QB and big ben beat the raiders on a bum foot! I wanna see Matt because I know it will create a controversy when they see how well he can move the ball once he gets into a groove! Givens better be on Joe like Triple "S" was or Joe was just scared of him and threw him all the passes out of fear! 120 million dollar QBs avg 350 400 yds a game period w/o INTs galore! Since people got cut after the loss to the jags Joe throw one more INT I say bench him! SMH

I hope he can back up that trash talk. At the moment, no expectations one way or another. Won't get hyped up by the press, but not pessimistic either. The no celebration was refreshing in it's own way and is an attitude of it's own - "Eh, a touchdown, just business as usual."

If Joe could make an accurate deep throw, or throw as a receiver makes his break, Givens may have a shot to put up big numbers. Alas...

He's had more time to work with Joe now, so hopefully, they'll be more in sync. We could really use a deep threat to help stretch out the field - will give our TEs even more chances too.

What's the chance we lose again on the final possession?

You know one of these games the Ravens are going to get blown out. They always do a least once a year. Last year twice. My bet its Pitts but you never know.

I can't understand why the same secondary from last year is still here this year playing the same way. I mean Webb had an interception but how many times has he done that this year, has he been the shut-down cornerback you thought we had??? And the rest of the secondary is playing the same way they played last year, but they are still here, somebody must like them more than winning games!!! Penalties, turnovers, and the refs have been killing us all year and it seem like we can't win for losing, what you gonna do??? I'm just saying!!!
