saying someone is in a deep depression is not a positive thing.

man what the heck is wrong with you people.

Sorry for being concerned about someone's mental health after they say there In a "deep hole" and depressed to the point that they avoid talking to their family I guess....

Harbs would never go for a Brandon Marshall type.

That wasn't my point. My point was the same fans that were begging for Marshall are many of the same ones saying that this "dark hole" comment means he has mental issues and therefore isn't stable enough to be counted on... Or some logic like that.

Not speaking to anyone specifically, just the general irony of it.

And appreciate wishing Breshad the best even though you have doubts. Doubts are fine.. What drives me nuts are those that blasted his twitter, these forums, and talk radio saying he's a bust, soft, wasted pick, etc...

To do all that to a guy and then wonder why he tuned the outside out?? Doesn't take a rocket scientist - were talking about a very young man whose never been in the public eye.

He didn't go far away from home for college so likely hasn't been away from his family for any extended time in his life.

This is his first experience on his own, and probably wanted to prove that he's fine on his own, and wanted to avoid them so they wouldn't see him struggling.

College was my first experience away from my parents and struggled with the freedom, party environment and it effected my grades. I avoided my parents like the plague for a good month.

I don't think that makes me a bad son or means I had any serious depression or mental issues. I'd just wanted to prove to myself I could do it without them and felt them seeing or hearing that I was struggling would prompt them to want to come help. I viewed that as a failure it a stupid immature way - so I can certainly understand it.

When a proud young man is flying the coop for the first time it's not inconceivable that he doesn't want to talk to his parents for a little while. I did it and I know quite a few of my friends who did the same.

It's dumb, but young people typically are. I don't think it necessarily equates to there being a serious issue.

For all the people calling him our for not talking to his parents, I was severely depressed my junior year of high school. I lived with my mom and I would hardly say a word to her. I would hardly talk to anyone.

I want you all to understand it literally saps every bit of desire you have. Every ounce is gone. It's literally like you are in a dark hole, no light, and you can't move. Nothing seems to hold value or importance anymore.

Please, stop commenting on mental health because honestly, this is downright ridiculous for people to call him out.

I guarantee the people calling him out have never been depressed.

And here's the crazy thing- it doesn't let you choose it, it chooses you. Depression takes a stranglehold on your life, one you would never want. It wraps itself around your mind and stays, whether you want it or not. Depression doesn't know status, age, gender, or anything. It just attacks.

For all of you to sit here and play psychologist is sick. Take it from someone who was depressed and is studying to be a clinical psychologist that this is not something to joke about, speculate about, or criticize. To be honest, from the sound of it, I'm glad he never tried to hurt himself

I strongly suspect a similar situation of new setbacks and injuries will appear next season. I hope he proves me wrong along with the rest of us that see it this way

He's not necessarily a slow healer. PCL tears, from what I gather, are just naturally slow healing injuries.

PT just told me that as well(rehabilitating a shoulder and I asked him out of curiosity. Typical recovery time is MONTHS). So not surprising.

Don't get me started on the depression thing. Personal experiences aside, unless you're a psychiatrist or psychologist, just shut up. You're not qualified.

Except the Bears really handled them.

We've been good vs the run. Now we have to stop Gurley.  Foles is horrific, especially if pressured. Don't get me wrong, I think we'll get beat but the Rams are not dynamic.

Now, its all about the draft picks. We lose ... we win.

Dan....We are officially thrown under the bus. 66% done.   Draft picks
