UNACCEPTABLE ! This is the NFL right ? As a fan I'm really getting to the point of tuning the NFL out. Either you clean this kinda stuff up or they'll be one less fan to your BS games. Unreal.

Mr. Commissioner... Turn it over...

Because  the ref error occurred on what should have been  the last play of the game , if ever there was a game in league history to be overturned by the commissioner due to a ref bad call, this is it. The player never got set as time expired. The 10 second run off kills any argument. No, the commissioner won't alter the outcome even if wanting to be 1000% fair is the objective to get it right. Nothing could have transpired after the player failed to be set. Game over. Of course, the Ravens played poorly enough to give this game away themselves but I am sick of bad officiating determining outcomes.

I remember seeing 3 zeros on the clock before the snap and thinking the game was over. But no whistle was blown so I thought perhaps the clock was off. Are you kidding me? No reason this shouldn't be overturned. If it was New England you better believe they would overturn it.

Gotta love this. Good thing the latest complete botch job by the officials didn't cost a team that is in contention, I guess.

Big deal to the Colts though. Don't think this doesn't matter. What if we win the rest of our games and this one win would have gotten us in? What if the Colts lose their division by one game? This is a big deal.

Told you before, the Ravens will never get a break, the curse of billick.

It is a big deal, the raves could have gone 8-0 to finish with a playoff game, the league just don't want us in it, might win again. It's really sad.

I know Sal.  It would open a huge can of worms, but in a time when the win was so important, you're right.  This is it.  Me too... sick of the inconsistencies... tired of the complete one-sided nature of it, and tired of the laundry all over the field 9, 10, or 11... 20  times a game.  The way games are being called, there is NO WAY to defend the passing game...

All in the name of player safety?????  I say NOT!

I thought John Eisenberg said Jacksonville won fair and square? Okay, even your own employees can't agree that you got jobbed, after you get cheated (again and again), when this happens something is acutely wrong in the organization.

Oh, that's right ... I forgot that the division JAX is playing is may get a playoff entry at 6-10.

I agree, the "Can of worms" is exactly why the commissioner won't overturn the outcome. So many bad ref calls have altered the outcomes of games. However, I still maintain that there hasn't been 1 game more clear that should be overturned that the refs missed the call, 1 single, identifiable, indisputable ref error that did totally wrongly determine the outcome of the game. The last play. So many Raven player screw ups throughout the game still can't diminish the fact that the refs failed to throw the obvious flag at the most critical, game changing point of the game. Even the NFL Network is running the story that the Ravens should have won the  game. Maybe I should send Goddell a can opener for that can of worms because horrendous ref mistakes are destroying this game and something needs to drastically improve with officiating.

Well...that's what happens when you play, 'NOT to lose'. It was rather evident with our last possession, and quite frankly, I believe that we have done that ALOT in the past. I have never seen such a game where it could have been gift wrapped in so many ways and handed to a team. I have now escalated my game from Maalox to Excederin. Arghhh.

I'm speechless. That could be one of the worst officiating gaffes I've seen in my life.

And this has been happening far too often.

Dunno how NFL going to fix this officiating problem...if they fire all the refs, then the new ones will have to learn again!

So since it was literally the last play with no time left, the NFL can correct the mistake and give the Ravens the win. Do it.

Aye. Since the play should have been called dead right there and then nothing after that matters-  and the automatic ten-second runoff ends the game.

Here is what should happen:

1. Void the win for Jacksonville and award it to Baltimore, since, if the penalty had been called correctly, that would have been the result.

2. Fire the entire officiating crew - NOW! If they can't get this right, they should not be out there anymore - and void their checks from yesterday's game. They should not be paid for yesterday's "efforts", either.

Be careful what you wish for. How soon we forget how awesome the replacement officials were.

If you think it can't get worse, then your memory is short...

Upset that Ravens won't get the W that they should of had. But at the same time what does that W really do in the long run? Probably not too much. So other way to look at this is it means this team will have a chance at a higher draft pick.

When you make mistakes with the recidivism of the Ravens, it is called karma when you lose a game as a result of another's mistake. No, the Ravens should not have won. And against a better opponent, it wouldn't have even come close to the final play being blown by the refs.

Yes John nothing matter except our record which now stands at a franchise worst 2-7 or 3-10 if you count the preseason. Atrocious is putting it mildly. Failure and losses come easily to teams that aren't very good and that is typically how things shake out. Like Parcels famously said, you are what your record says you are!

Just doing 1. Would be enough for me. That sends a message for future reference that their calls can be overturned even in final scores. Ofc, in this case it's clear what the final score would be without the missed penalty. In other games it's harder to say the outcome based on bad calls..,but with so many bad calls these days...refs need to absorb some of the blame instead of all the teams.

This is very unfortunate for Baltimore. We won the game, but we didn't win the game. This happens too much in the NFL, and the Ravens are never going to be a league favorite. We should file an appeal at least, and the NFL should publicly address this...We cannot rely on Refs and calls to go our way.

Give us the W then. If everything came down to the final play and that is what got them into field goal range with 0 time left. The NFL officiating is a joke. But so is this team. You can't pass on FG's with the best kicker in the league. You can't play 1 score games every week and put the game in the other team's/officiating's hands. Give me one game where we take care of business and win by 2 TD's. Every game this year decided by a TD or Less and we are 2-7. That is sickening and not healthy for the diehard's stress levels. This post is just a showing of my frustration with this team and what fans should be displaying if they want things to change.

How can anyone really say that the Raven's "deserved" to lose? Yes, there were some bad play's, throws, bumbled catches, BAD REF CALL's etc. But, what about the guy's that busted their butt's out there!! How can anyone say that they deserved to lose that game!! They did NOT deserve that!! We were robbed........again! I have seen some bad call's in my life, but this year takes the cake and eat's it too! It is truly sickening that the NFL can't get this under control....but I guess for them, it's all about the money!!

it's just too many rookie mistakes being made by veteran players whether time is out or not, just too many stupid mistakes that will cause us to lose. This has been said time and time again but it seems like it's falling on deaf ears because they keep doing the same things. turnovers, defensive interference for not turning around and playing the ball but running into the man trying to catch the ball stupid rookie mistake. And going down to the ground to hit the QB when he slid feet first stupid rookie mistake, and grabbing the QB by the helmet and spinning him down to the ground!!! If you want to keep losing keep doing those things and you will lose, now these rookie mistakes were made by veterans so they really don't make sense!!! I'm just saying!!!
