[News] The Breakdown: Eisenberg's Five Thoughts vs. Jaguars

Let me say it for you: oops, my bad, I take full responsibility or we need to do better or maybe even, we'll learn from this. And, there's this: we're a bunch of guys who believe in each other and will do better next week,we think we can go on a win-streak and make the playoffs, blah, blah, blah. I don't like the Patriots, but one thing I see is SMART play, play calling and play design and unknown players do their jobs and an organization that does it right all the time. They (Patriots) also seem to do a better job of finding and using talent.

Yes. Time for the once great Oz to ride off into the sunset and grab some extra horses, as he will have company. No, it's not all his fault, but he needs to hang it up.

No Ozzie needs to get back to bringing in players with attitudes who will play like Ravens, not the choir boy type that Harbaugh prefers. Who plays with an attitude on the Ravens team right now? I'll wait ...

RavenManiac#7 First of all, you're quoting Two different people's posts here. Everything you say here were Not my words. Some were, yes, but some were not, and you make No distinction on which were and which were not. And secondly, didn't we go 8 - 8 last year, and miss the playoffs altogether? Either I'm having a senior moment, or I may have entered a time warp.

--

Ravens were 10-6 last year and went into Pitt and beat them and then went into NE and had the SB champs up against the ropes and forced them to pull out every trick in the book to beat us.

As I look at other QB and see what they are doing, you can be sure they are not sitting on their butt thinking about their next moves, they are arousing their teammates to go out and do better, Joe Flacco is just to to cool, he has no fire coming from his mouth or in his system, after most 3 and out he goes sit down and wait till his team gets the ball back, he acts like he doesn't even care, Last year I was hoping that the management would give Tyrod Taylor a chance, he's doing a very good job at Buffalo, are the Ravens going to invest all that money to someone who doesn't care if the team's playing bad, It's not the team's fault, It's Flacco's fault, he will never be an ELITE QB, It really tics me off when everyone blaming everyone but Flacco for the Ravens downfall. I gave up on the Ravens 11 games ago beginning last year, with all the hype that the Ravens created in the pre-season, It's a travesty. Put Matt Schaub out on the field [ he can't do any worsts ] and save Flacco health for some future draft picks, he just might do better QBacking another team and while Ozzie's at It fire the coaches and start all over new, they all used up their usefulness

I like the idea or resting Flacco for the season and making schaub earn some of that money we threw his way. That would surely lose us a few more games assuring a top-10 pick. But things don't work that way. Flacco needs to get comfortable in this weird system or Trestman needs to go. Otherwise we start next season exactly where we are now. A few big plays here and there, and a whole bunch of turnovers and 3and outs

Yeah the whole "Harbaugh only likes choir boys" myth was debunked long ago.

John, while I'm enjoying your latest book "10-Gallon War", and I do agree with your points on not blaming Dumervil, you are dead wrong on the officials. I guess you are a shill for the NFL, but you can come off of it, now - the NFL has now admitted the officials were wrong. Call it right - they were atrocious yesterday and got all three calls in question wrong. GET IT RIGHT!
