[News] Elvis Dumervil: 'I Take Full Responsibility'

At least he didn't stop after Bortles fell on the ground. This whole season has been heartbreaking. Forget today, I still love my Ravens and Doom, of course.

Oh, that's real nice to take responsibility, but the fact is you lost. Saying sorry doesn't fix that. We've hearing these apologies almost week after week. And we're about sick of hearing it. Results matter way more than "taking responsibility".

Good teams find away to win, bad teams find away to lose!!! the Ravens keep finding ways to lose, I have never seen the offense run the clock out in a tight game. Why rely on a poor defense to hold a 1 point lead?

It's not Doom's fault we lost this game. Doom's penalty was only the LAST mistake in a game with TOO MANY mistakes to realistically expect to come away with a victory. That was a collective TEAM loss.

considering the offense and Special teams turned the ball over 4 times in a row, the defense did pretty good I thought.

As long as we sweep the Steelers its a good year. lol.

Yeah.....I'm viewing the 2nd game as our superbowl this year.

Sweep Pittsburgh and at least you can take some solace.

Coach Harbaughs' press conference? Man is he in lala land. Fumbles, interceptions, dropped interceptions, penalties galore, and then "the" face mask, with the game over, WHAT!! Harbaugh is backing his troops like a bunch of babies. They had 2 week to prepare for the worst team in football at home. They were a disgrace....special teams, offense (Q-B terrible), defense, coaching; they were bad from the start to the half when they unbelievably got worse. Coach has lost the team. Oh well he has the rest of the year to gather his troops and start to get ready for 2016. We have all had days like this and it never feels good. That's why there is a TOMORROW. Go Ravens....we will be watching and rooting next week.

When they threw the flag, I just laughed. When he made the FG, I just laughed again. Why? Because if you watched this game, folks, it was bad football. 2 bad teams, playing bad football all day. The Ravens leave a TE completely uncovered running down the middle of the field! lol!!! And the Jags are so bad they don't even throw it to him! Flacco repeatedly going deep to Aiken-who's not a deep WR, and he's making how much $$ again? Ross fumbling-again. A FG that was missed from a distance that is now shorter than the extra point...I mean, it was horrible. Of course it would end that way. It was appropriate. We stink. Go Ravens. Let's get a new DB coach, and a high draft choice, and some good speedy mid-round WRs.

That muffed punt by Ross that led to a Jags TD did not help either. You can say there is plenty of things that led to this loss.....you can not put this all on one player.

Doom, you are fine. You were actually hustling and playing to win. One could easily blame dropped passes, stupid turnovers, blown coverages (AGAIN!) and a missed FG on this loss!

Our loss is not solely because of a penalty on the last call by Dumervil. What about the the two inceptions and fumble by Flacco or the multitude of penalties by the referees - some valid, some not. Today was just a bad football day all the way around and we have to get better at the basics!!

We still need to find a way to sweep the Steelers.....If they can give me that, I can at least spend the holidays with the in-laws in Pittsburgh without taking too much guff. Please :)

After a bye week they had plenty of time to prepare for the Jags and they still looked pretty bad. Flacco had 1 int and 1 fumble Aiken caused the other int the ball hit his hands and like it or not in the NFL if the ball hits a WR's hands it should be caught it was a little high but hit both his hands= Aikens fault PERIOD..... and Ross muffed the punt. Lewis should have come up with the pick that hit him between the numbers and way too many stupid penalties.
