OMG, reading this comments makes me sick and laugh. This is an incredibly bad team, historical in many ways. And you guys comment like one thing went wrong here or there and we should have won. You obviously know nothing about a TEAM. All teams are made up of talent, but all teams are not good, or even close to being good. This team sucks!! It starts from the top down, a horrible year, maybe even a horrible last couple years at the top and it has filtered down to teh field now. Horrible team !

"Have we officially shifted from fire Pees to fire Trestman? Or is it fire both now?"

In my opinion, both have to go especially Trestman. Talent could make up for Pees defensive philosophy, as proven with the Super Bowl. However no amount of talent can make up for an OC that has no idea of down and distance, and completely lacks the feel for the game. A great OC like Kubiak is highly aware of where the game is at anytime. That ensures that the right call is delivered to the QB.

If Will Hill's hit was a hit on a defenseless receiver then Davon House's hit on Aiken was also in an identical fashion but not called and the result was an interception. Unreal. Also they called a late hit on a Raven (before Asa's on the kickoff which was late) which wasn't late, so they don't call forward progress and we don't hit and score a td in the Cardinals Gane, here they call a clean hit to make sure the runner is down and they call a penalty. We can't win when the refs don't call consistent plays. But overall the refs were decent this game. They blew a few that benefitted us too.

All fair weather fans leave now! The rest of us will stay.

That is TOTALLY unfair. Just because fans, Ravens fans like myself, don't like what they're seeing from this year's team on the field, and care enough to give our opinions, it does Not mean that we are only "fair weather fans." I will be a fan of this team NO MATTER WHAT. And I reserve the right to voice my opinion on what I'm seeing from it this, and Every season. I mean, honestly, what do you expect to read from fans who care about their team? Sorry, but this year's performance is really Not "peaches and cream." And I'm not feeling all "warm and fuzzy" about what I'm watching. I care too much about the Ravens to be satisfied with what we're all seeing this year. No matter how long this goes on I will love my team, and I'm not going Anywhere. But, I don't have to like it.

Good grief, its like we are cursed. Mistake, after mistake after mistake. Its like we do everything possible to lose the game. Not blaming Dumerville too many things went wrong before the face mask penalty which you just knew was coming.

With all of these bad plays, misplays, and mistakes, where does the coaching staff begin. It seems everyone had a part in this loss, except for a few players. I think some drops by our defensive backs (possible INT's) some bad Quarterbacking plays, too many penalties, and on 4th down, early in the game, if you're going to throw it on 4th and 4, you should at least throw it the 4 yards, and not short of that. I agree with going for it there, but you have to give your receivers a chance, just like on 4th and goal you don't want to throw it short.

Seems it was a team loss, and I don't put the blame squarely on Doom's shoulders, that would be unfair to him.

I miss the game today. Got home and saw on NFL channel how the Ravens lost, I was shocked to see how the Jags manage to get a snap off basically just before it hit zero with Ravens defenders in disarray, some looked like they were walking off the field and then a facemask with no time left. I can only shrug at what happened as I am past getting upset anymore this year. It's one of those things where stuff happens. sigh.

If Orr dove for the ball he would have had an interception near the end of the first half. They have lost the hunger for interceptions. Orr played pretty well overall. Just if he dove it was easy. Just didn't even try.

If Ravens are supposedly using the same offense created by Kubiak with Trestman calling the plays then where are the run schemes that they ran last year? oh that's right, you only run the ball in the 4th quarter. I do Question some of the offense play calling today.

This heartbreaking loss to a bad team has put a nail in the coffin for any team talk of a "make history" comeback. It's a sad reality that not 1 player went to the podium to speak with the press. I have never known that to happen before. Feel sorry for our players trying to rebound mentally for the next game. This season has been dismal but today's game does take the cake as far as being painfully demoralizing.

Joe was high in the Aiken int but the unflagged helmet to helmet hit should have negated it. The Givens int I think wasa ccalled back shoulder throw which Givens should own up to if true.

Unfair is a matter of opinion.i have long felt it's unfair this lack of support. If fans are so upset...leave. No one forces you to cheer for Ravens. Lots of other teams in NFL, if winning matters than find a winning team. I really thought Ravens should have won this game...but since they didn't...I'm still going to look for the positives...why? Because don't expect a negative attitude to improve anything....EVER!

My best shot at being positive:

1. At the very least Ravens will have top 10 draft status

2. Flacco%u2019s performance this will help structure a more reasonable contract. There may be a few teams that will pay Flacco more if Flacco and agent try to play hardball.

3. TEs are legit. Shame they try to make Aiken the #1 option when Gilmore, Boyle, and Williams are more reliable

4. Humble pie. It is nothing but blind arrogance for Harbs to contemplate a playoff run. Those words are done now. Thank God.

I didn`t think it was possible to have a worse play caller than Cam. Trestman, you win first prize.

Trestman has far less talent than Cam had, and the offense still is ranked higher in points and yards than when Cam was here. I don't know how much better Trestman can do. We have the worst receiving corps in the league by far, Forsett fails to gain more than a yard on about half his carries, and we still have a slightly better than average offense this year, based on both points and yards, and that's despite the fact that the defense almost never helps out by forcing turnovers. It makes no sense at all to blame Trestman when our offense has been decent despite the complete and utter lack of playmakers.

BLOW UP this team....Trestmans 3rd down routes dont go past the sticks, worthless

Yeah, I've been thinking the same thing on these pathetic 3rd down conversion attempts. What the heck is up with that? It's been a consistent issue. Even if they don't complete the passes, they should at least be trying to get beyond the sticks. I really think it's the separation issue our receivers have. They just can't Get the separation needed beyond the stakes, so they come up short consistently and Joe has to hope for them to be able to gain yardage after the catch, but they're not good at that either.

I wish we would have tried to score more in a 1 point game at the end, instead of simply trying to 'Milk' the clock. That was a mistake. And when that happened, knowing the Ravens' luck, I said, 'I bet you we lose this game'. And that's what happened. That was way too conservative for a 1 point game. We should have been thinking Touchdown the whole way on that last offensive drive, and not go into a shell (sorry for the Terps pun, but they'd have done the same think as they are without any luck and talent in much the same way).

It's a sickening way to lose and both of these MD teams are playing with their tails between their legs, to put it VERY nicely.

Just abysmal.

They basically had a bye week to prepare for the browns and jaguars, and lost to both of them at home. that tells you all you need to know about both the coaching staff and players this season. No concentration, no production in critical game plays, and no sense of how to win. There were probably 6 stupid bone headed or missed opportunities to close out this game both on O and D. Juice runs out of bounds keeping 30-40 more seconds on the clock. Can't pickup a 1st down when they need it. Koch fails to pin them deep. Lewis drops a floating gift with no one around him which could have sealed the game. Dumerville uneeded facemask on a play when he and the QB are basically the only guys moving. It was a putrid effort again and this team is basically painful to watch every time out.

I'm really not upset at Dumerville. He definitely should have avoided putting his hand that high. However Dumerville is one of the remaining bright lights on this team. He plays relentlessly every down. If a third of the team played that hard or the coaches coach half as good as Dumerville plays, we would be 6 - 3 of better

All i ask for is 10 15 yard trows...no 2, 3 yards and stupid 40 yards bombs on an 3-4 down that end in ints....cmon men you are winning by one point and then you decide to run for no gain two times in a row and make a screen pass to a guy that can't break 1 tackle and was surrounded by 3 guys? we just needed an field goal over there and we wouldnt be talking right now...

@ Raven Maniac, A Big reason why those throws go short of the sticks, on 3rd or 4th down, is because the other team gives you that. They figure, if you're going to take it they'll tackle you short and be done with it. They know where the sticks are and they play right in front of them. It's our offenses fault for throwing short on that 4th down and 4, just like when we get near the 5 yard line and throw it for a 2 yard gain. That's simply a waste of a down!

That definitely needs to be corrected, going forward.

Die hard fan, but you just have to laugh about how this season has gone. I don't remember so many games where it was just a crazy play that doomed us. I honestly hope we play all our rookies the rest of the year, and save our starters. It will be good to evaluate what we have, and will need for the future. I used to get upset over every loss, now I know how Jag and Browns fans deal with their teams... sheer numbness, Obla di Obla da...life goes on....come on draft day!!!!
