Have the coaches been able to do that for nearly 9 weeks now?

Sure have not but I thought maybe week 10 would be the charm week. :D

This will be a good litmus test for the state of our OL and Trestman's ability to plan and adjust.

Ultimately it'll be a one-score game that we lose because in the last drive we either can't get off the field or our offence stalls, but if we can look sharp on offence outside of that final drive I'll be content.

I disagree but thats fine if you feel that way.

Potential and hope aside, you are what your record says you are. Every team starts the season with the potential to win the SB, only one does.

I believe this team will end up the worst in Ravens history .

No heart , no discipline , poor coaching, lacks fundamentals . It has

every bad trait of the very worst teams out there .

They've given up, Joe knows the season is already over and everybody else has followed suit. Losing Suggs and SSS just sucked the life out of this team, those are the two most vocal leaders on both sides of the ball. I just hope we can get a few games out of Perriman to get him ready for next year and that Maxx can get rolling after his 1st TD and him and Gillmore can become a mean 2-headed monster for Flacco going forward.

Should be a tough day for our offense but I trust our run defense and their O-line is not all that good. Should be yet another close game

The only reason the seven losses have been as close as they have been is because Joe has not quit like some of his receivers who couldn't catch a cold much less a football. Unlike you, I don't believe the team has mailed it in. They are doing their best; unfortunately, their best is just not as good as the opponents we have been facing. Joe was one of six Super Bowl winning QBs who lost today. That speaks volumes --- its a team sport. To expect to get a few games out of Perriman at this point in the meaningless games that remain is foolish and unrealistic. He will not be busting his butt to prove anything for the rest of the year. Our best hope is that Joe and the 2-headed monster of which you speak stay healthy heading into next season.

I agree with this assessment Frozen.

I believe that these Ravens are doing their best as well but it is not good enough cause the players on the roster are not good enough imo to get the job done.  I've known this since their loss to the Browns at M&T earlier this season man.  Sometimes, in this "a win is a win is a win" community; it is "how" or the "way" a team wins or lose that is very telling to me.  The way these Ravens have played throughout this season so far is reflected in their 2-7 record.  They are...what their record says they are...2-7.  A bad team!

Just win. Throw in schuab if Flacco throws another 4stinkers if we have to. Just win

I'd be able to pick 6 good reasons why I wouldn't want Schaub in if we are trying to win

I see what you did there.

I'd only throw in Matt if Joe loses two of his OL.

Cutler and Jeremy Langford surely put a dent on that stout Rams D, multiple 80+ yard scores..hopefully they are tired after all those big plays and will maybe allow us to make a couple...

then of course our D will give up a big play with seconds remaining, Rams steal the win, as per usual.

One thing we have going for us is our team is finally mostly healthy.

Perhaps Perriman finally appears and tears up the Rams like his predecessor did years ago. Perhaps this was the conspiracy from jump!

It was too easy lol, kinda like picking off Matt Schaub and returning it for a TD

Yeah that or if we are winning/losing bad enough where it is garbage time

This game will be a win. Foles literally may be the worst starting QB in the NFL. The run D will be able to contain Gurley.

On O, we will have our troubles but they will put up some points. I think this is the one game where we can win by more than a touchdown.

I really don't think Gurley's rushing will hurt us ..... but his ability to catch out of the backfield plus a total lack of any secondary defense will most likely produce another loss. What I foresee is multiple pass interference calls against Jimmy Smith that'll cost us big yardage in penalties. You can't be giving  up PI calls in the red zone and can't present the opposition with a short field and not expect them to score.

  • The Realist in me: The Rams are the better team.
  • The Idealist in me: I wish this game was against the Patriots. It would be a better narrative especially if we won. It would be our SB this season.
  • The Dreamer in me: The Rams lose the game based on stupid penalties, terrible officiating, dumb playcalling and poor play.
  • The Passionate Football Historian in me: We play the perfect game - win or lose.
  • The Fan in me: We've got nothing to lose so we win.

GO Ravens!!! Get it done.
