Well at least it's not like Jadveon Clowney who was #1 Pick overall. Really what has he done? Really wasn't a good draft for any of the #1's across the board. Perriman to miss this much time without surgery is amazing but they say sometimes sprains are worse than breaks?

Honestly, I think that's the case right now. I mean, really, what would a win against the Jaguars say? The rest of this season should be all about evaluating every single player we have to see who should stay moving forward, and who should not. This would, also, help clarify just what the most pressing of our numerous needs are. I don't think beating the Jags does Anything towards helping us in that process.

This years WR draft class has been pretty banged up and unproductive overall, so at least Perriman isn't the only one frustrating the coaches and fans. Next season I think will be the true test as to what these 2015 class WR'S can do. Last years WR group was special, for that many rookies to be that productive was extremely rare, and I think it made everyone think that it would start becoming a trend, but that was just an amazing group of receivers last year. I know it's frustrating but we gotta be patient and hope for the best.

Question - Do we have to include Perriman every single game as 'out'? We don't say Suggs' is out do we? I realize he isn't on IR but still... why rub it in?

I don't think anyone could have foreseen this happening. He never really had any issues in college, it's just another example of our horrible luck this season.

 

Long time January J, but I could have swore I read an article about him being "injury prone" prior to being drafted. I could be wrong tho.
