[News] Who's Playing, Who's Not vs. Jaguars

39 posts in this topic

This is going to be exciting to see how the receivers step up. Also, it will be great to see what Brent Urban can bring to the table, not expecting too much since he hasn't played in the NFL yet, but if he goes we finally get a look at what the coaches have been raving about. As far as Perriman being out, it just amazes me that Urban with a TORN bicep is back before a guy with a sprained Knee, lol GO RAVENS!

I know that I sure wanted to see Perriman out on the field this year, as well as everyone else! But, I am sure that there is one person even more disappointed than we are.......Perriman himself!

If you have someone ready to play and no roster spot, and you have a guy who hasn't been able to get on the field since training camp started taking up a roster spot, then I think this decision is a no brainer. We know Perriman can run, we know he can catch, we know he can run a 9 route which is 90% of what will be asked of him. What we don't know is if he is durable enough to be an NFL WR and in the games that are left, he can't prove that so sit him down and let the guy who can play, Urban, play. Next year we will see if Perriman can make it through OTA's, training camp and 16 games and he has all next year to prove he's durable.

Idk if he is disappointed or not, but I do know he is still gonna get paid for doing nothing this year regardless.

"Allen Hurns (foot, questionable) is "very confident" he'll play Week 10 against the Ravens. ... He's not going to want to miss Sunday's date with one of the league's worst secondaries." -- rotoworld.com

... cringe

I said at the start of the season to put Perriman on the PUP and let his knee heal properly and got negged like it was going out of style.. Well now I'm saying just put him on IR and stop wasting our time with this weekly report of him not playing yet again. I have a feeling they are going to when they activate Urban..

My question to the fans, do you think our training staff and medical is trying to push these players back too soon leaving them open for a reoccurring injury? It just seems like we have done a horrible job with our players health's lately and its just not one position or player its the entire team..

Having Hurns on my fantasy team I planned on starting him, hell he could ride the bench the entire game and our secondary will still find a way to give up a TD to him..

I'm with you ... I need him this week, as Julio is on bye. He's in my lineup and I'll wait for final confirmation at the last minute to make sure he's active.

Given that Ravens > Fantasy (even in a lost season), I hope Webb shuts him down (*cough). If he torches us, then I'll just consider the points he gives my fantasy team a consolation prize to offset the pain of seeing another tragic performance by our secondary.

Same people complaining about Perriman not playing, will be the same ones complaining if he plays and does permanent damage! Everyone is a doctor!

yea at least Campanaro tried...even though he's a damaged unit as well.....I really don't see perriman ever contributing to this team....except for the towel handing out....he is a bust until He proves otherwise....

"Perrimans out again". ??? When was he ever in? No need to tell us the obvious. The guy wont play this season.

With Perriman "still out", its safe to say that this team (scouts, staff) has not shown to be able to draft productive WR's. Torrey Smith might have been our only one.

Sprain = Tear.

Urban tore his ACL = Sprained Knee

Perriman tore his PCL (plus bone bruise) = Sprained Knee

Yes, tearing your ACL is worse, but he implied that a sprained knee is not that big of a deal. Tearing a ligament is tearing a ligament. Some just heal faster than others.

Seriously how long do you think a slow healer will last in the NFL? Perriman is a bust for the 2015 season maybe the scouts will do a better job next year.

Breshad Perriman is soft!! If he was picked up by New England Patriots, he'd be playing now weather he likes it or not. Sometimes I get this gut feelings that College Football players hopes to get picked by a top notch professional football team and once they're in they start hurting, I supported him the first day he got draft, now I can't wait till he leaves

I don't think anyone could have foreseen this happening. He never really had any issues in college, it's just another example of our horrible luck this season.
