 Have to disagree.  We had the game won despite bad calls and poor decision making. That was on us.  What really hurts is that the D was actually playing pretty well.

I sure hope so, but right now they look like they need much better players are several positions: pass rusher, cb, wr, ol, rb, safety, and let's face it they need something better to happen under center.

 

It's going to be hard to fix all or even most of that in one off-season.

No way.  The Ravens just handed that game away. They had two chances to close it and they just keep making stupid mistakes. 

 

You mention the truth of it..........Losing breeds losing......we are trapped in the bad current of the toilet bowl now and that is the truth of it.

I can think of 2 in the same season... The last loss to the Jags and the loss to the Pats that ended our season.

This loss sucks, but how can anyone call it the worst loss ever? Maybe it'll make the top 20 or something, but have we forgotten Billy Cundiff already? This loss prevented the Ravens from having twice as many losses as wins. The season ended weeks ago.

I know! Even if Bortles had completed a pass they probably would had to lateral in order to actually score... and he probably would never have made a completion anyway.

The game was literally over. Time expired and no way Bortles can throw a TD. Instead of just letting him throw it Doom tries to be the hero and grabs his face mask... Literally the ONLY away we could've lost, and we do it.

Lewis drops a gimme INT that would've sealed the game.

4 TO's in a row. And still should've won.

I've never seen a team that plays soooooo bad yet every week finds a way to overcome terrible play to be in a position to win.... Only to then give the game away in awfully dramatic fashion.

This is the best worst team ever. We have the worst self inflicted wounds ever yet somehow take the lead late in the 4th every game.

Some of the ways we've lost games are incredible... I mean this game it was harder to lose than it was to win. We must practice all week on how to make game-losing mistakes.

This Ravens team reminds me of that South Park episode when the boys are forced to play Little League... And all they want to do is lose so they can stop playing so they start practicing being bad - like pitching to purposely hit the bat so the ball is put in play. That's us. Finding ways to lose games - when the other team can't find a way to win on their own, we find ways to help them out and give it to them.

execution lies on the players and players alone. A bad throw is a bad throw, even if that was the same play there are other players to go to, Flacco is too used to being able to just chuck it up and somebody being there to get it, we can't do that without the speed we used to have, a little flexibility on Flacco's part would be nice. Dumb throws are dumb throws, being a designated punt returner and muffing it, these aren't the fault of coaches. Poor play calling should lead to a sack or an incompletion, forcing the ball or just heaving it are on Flacco, hate to break it to you.

 Actually as much as I hate to say it, I think we're a dumb team.  It's one thing for rookies to acclimate, or a WR who suddenly becomes the #1 receiver to get comfortable becoming the main target, but when our senior players start committing mistakes that give the game away, not to mention the HC making bone headed decisions early in the game...

Great, another insult...NFL admits to missed call at the end of game taking away the win for the Ravens. Really?! How about the missed call on Aiken on first play of second half? Ravens horrible second half, hard enough to win with having to deal with the zebras too!
