Week 10 - Baltimore Ravens vs. Jacksonville Jaguars

While Kubiak was a good coordinator, I think Trestman's done a good job with what he has. Kubiak had the Smiths (Sr & Torrey), while Trestman only has a patchwork crew. He's also got Juszczyk involved a lot more than Kubiak ever did.

They should do better than that, but it is an improvement over the non-tackling that they were into for a while in previous games.

True enough. I would rather they ankle-tackle than air-tackle. Lol

I don't know, I'm still seeing too much of the "hit him hard and hope he falls down" in this game. Sooo frustrating when they don't fall down!

Kubiak also had much better performing O-line.

It's great that we want to eat the clock, but we need to actually convert to a first down if we want to retain possession of the ball.

1st down ends the game here. Big time 3rd down. One play decided the game - look for Crockett down the seam or on a crossing route.

That's true. Kubiak did a great job with our OL. The only areas where I question Trestman is doing stuff like running on multiple attempts when it's clear we want to run to eat the clock, which the defense knows and aligns to stop the run. These obvious running situations are times when we should throw the ball to get a first down instead of running on first and second down and now likely relying to pass to convert a 3&10.

If we give the ball back to the Jags even with a min left, they'll score for a win. Our clock management and play calling is terrible.
