Dumervil did well there, but it looked like he slowed down a bit before he sacked Bortles.

Sometimes a LB will do that if he thinks the QB will try and take off.

Even though he got the sack... Dumervil was giving up on the play and was jogging then had to speed back up to get the sack... That should say all we need to know about how these guiys are motivated right now.

Yeah, I figured he did it because he didn't want to be charged for a late hit if he got it out before he got there, but that could be it, too.

I'm disappointed at Trestman calls for the 1st QTR. Completely conservative calls on some plays and two consecutive deep throws to Aiken, granted Aiken was the 3rd read on the first one, he still shouldn't even be put in that situation. He's a possession receiver. The guy has average ball tracking, inconsistent leaping ability and doesn't even fight for the ball enough to win those jump balls.

It is his offense, ultimately it is on his shoulders then to make a call for a better percentage play to pick up the 4 yards.

We're trying to hard too assimilate Aiken to being a deep threat, that's on Trestman. That's a problem.

Running game is non existent so far. Gonna be a long day, long season if we don't get the run game established.

FYI, this season was over by the end of September.
