the lack of turnovers is because the defenders r playing off the receivers and allowing them to catch the ball and just tackling them after the catch, that's not exactly how to get turnovers.

Yeah - if we drop this one, it will be proof positive that this team is simply very bad. We'll be able to stop all the silly discussions about running the table and talk about what we need to be talking about anyway - looking very long and hard to determine at each position who (if anyone) can be retained and be a contributor going forward.

Honestly, I think Davis, Allen, Z.Smith and Boyle have been about as good as we can expect. Nothing to go crazy about, but on track.

 

I didn't expect big things from Maxx in his rookie season (like many did), but he's been outplayed by Boyle IMO and that's a little disappointing. Then there is Perriman, who's really bringing the entire draft class down.

 

Draft classes can't really be properly evaluated until you are at least 2 years in - preferably 3. But early returns are pretty mixed.

I think what Saxxin meant was at this point, if Ravens lose a single game, they are definitely out. A single loss now is the loss of season. Although extremely unlikely, because we'd have to win out AND some other AFC wildcard contenders would have to lose, at this point, the actual play offs aren't mathematically impossible.

 

With the way they have played, they don't even deserve to be in the playoffs.

Who ever thought Suggs and Torrey ment so much to this team that the Ravens would turn out to be so bad? Just two guys have that much power.

Lol, yea I didn't feel not one bit upset. Its crazy because I used to get so pumped for this team during our games. When we would win I'd feel like im on the clouds, and when we would lose, I feel like the hulk. But this season, after that loss to the Browns in our house, I knew this team was a joke, and I basically came to terms that they would keep losing. I'll always be a die hard Ravens fan, but I call things how I see them Dorota, this team is a joke.

 

We have too many free agents players that cannot perform in positions where performance is key. For instance, both our safeties & WR.

For me football is my life. I play it and I watch the Ravens and college too, so I can't not hope for a win. I'm an "against all odds" person and we are always close enough to hope. Other teams are welcome to the number one pick, I want Ravens to make an effort every game and fight for the win, because that's who I believe the Ravens are. There are still guys making a monster effort on the team. But what I hate and what makes me mad are the bonehead penalties. In retrospect, not even so much Doom, who was the only one to make an effort the last snap and I know it sometimes happens - you just stick your hand wrong and no matter how hard you try, you cannot pull it out in time. It's the late hits and unnecessary roughness that made me go mental.
