Gotta feelin that Buck Allen will finally find the end zone on Sunday. Hope to see more from maxx but I don't expect much from him until next year.

Kinda odd that Za%u2019Darius Smith only good game came when he had Babin on the other side to draw a double team. I haven't seen Smith do much since Babin was released

I think we have a great class of rookies. They're not only talented, but also determined to be great football players. I know Perriman is done for the year (should be on IR any week), but otherwise, we had a very good draft. I think 1 player in the situation of Perriman does not deter our future and success in the 2015 draft. I also believe Perriman will be ready for next year and contribute in a big way, hopefully!

I think Buck is having a solid season considering he's the #2, 4.4 yds/carry is pretty good for a rookie. But the lack of good production in the running game, I think, has more to do with the oline dealing with injury after injury this year. Boyle's had a solid season as well but it's hard to say he or Williams will get too much playing time with Crockett healthy. Davis is hot and cold, we need more consistency. I wonder when Perriman will finally be healthy enough to see the field...ZD Smith, again, doing solid, making rookie mistake which are to be expected of course.

Buck Allen been making good strides just seems like he can't get enough touches because Forsett has to get his too. Sometimes Allen looks more powerful and faster.

I don't care who steps up and makes plays. I just want to see a rejuvenated and focused team. And a blow out would be nice too ! :)

Good game to bring up West. Jags don't have a strong D wall. Break him in. West doesn't need time on the practice squad. He's playing in his hood. That's all the incentive he needs. Allen and Forsett will get their carries. I'm eager to see what he does.

@Jim Giampaoli... Jags have an above average front seven... what kills their defense it the offense hangs them out to dry... by not holding the ball long enough to allow the defense to rest... the defense is very stout against the run... they play the Panthers tough... bout wore down... so to think you are going to just do what you want against these guys is just laughable... this game is going to be a dog fight all the way...

??? they are the #7 rush defense in the league for rushing yards per game and #1 in the league average yards per attempt with 3.2.

Joe is going to have to be the star in this game.

Agreed, as I said above they are #1 on yards per attempt. I hope our team isn't under estimating the jags like a lot of people on here are. I believe we will beat them, but they are a pretty tough team. What scares me the most though is their receivers. Robinson and Hurns are the third best receiving duo in the league right now behind Gronk/Edelman and Thomas/Sanders. Those are the only three teams with two players in the top 20 for receiving.

We are really going to need to apply pressure to slow them down. They have allowed a lot of sacks this year so hopefully Doom can have a break out game for sacks.

We're definitely gonna have to go out there and fight in all 3 phases. This will definitely be no gimme. And the last thing we need is an embarrassing loss to the Jaguars to kill the first tiny bit of momentum we've had all season and put a damper on our confidence, Create some damn turnovers and punch it down their throats. A nice distinctive victory is exactly what we need to start off the second half of the season. Would be awesome for the rookies to step up big Sunday and make some plays.

Theres a lot of rookies always making impacts. I think being real here, its not likely that we will go to the playoffs. The real thing long term issue here is who is worth keeping and what kind of jumpstart can we get for moving fwd and next yr. give all these guys on the team and in the practice squad a chance to see how hungry they are. We can see what our current seasons plans got us, i think its time to make serious changes to see what this team really has

How about the Veterans we brought in Monroe, Lewis, Arrington step up their play or the other guys we drafted like Arthur Brown? I think this rookie class other than Perriman and Williams been pretty good. It's up to the coaches to coach them up and get them ready to play. If their not ready to play who's fault is that player or coaches?

Who are the playmakers on this team anymore?

There aren't any right now. That's one of our biggest problems. Everybody will laugh and neg me, but I still believe that One day, Breshad Perriman Will be a playmaker. I simply refuse to believe that One injury will define his career. I know what it feels like to suffer orthopedic injuries, and people, All injuries are Not the same. I still believe that he will play one day and that Ravens fans will like what they see and forget all about this extremely unfortunate injury he suffered to begin his career. But, right now, Seriously, we don't Have any playmakers.

Playoffs? Who are you kidding? This team is so far away from being a playoff contender, it is just ludicrous to even write this garbage. When we start getting some real people on defense, then talk about playoffs. No pass rush, no pass coverage, no playmakers, no turnovers. Need I say more. Oh, yeah, lets draft another wide receiver next year in the first round. That will fix everything.

We have our mix of vets and rookies.   I want leadership from guys llke Arrington, Webb and Jimmy Smith.  Why tank? Another Perriman injury can happen to any 016 draft choice.

Even with the injuries, this rookie class has stepped up and will go down as one of Ozzie's most solid drafts. It's certainly one of the best since drafting Flacco, Rice and Pitta in '08.

Remember....the Jags are ahead of us in the playoff chase. We can leapfrog over the perennial powerhouse w/a big win Sunday. It's going to be a tough game, but we can do it. Really.

Playoffs?

I think what Saxxin meant was at this point, if Ravens lose a single game, they are definitely out. A single loss now is the loss of season. Although extremely unlikely, because we'd have to win out AND some other AFC wildcard contenders would have to lose, at this point, the actual play offs aren't mathematically impossible.

I think some of the rookies will step up. Also, as the season is progressing, they will draw more positive attention. Neither of the rookies mentioned is doing a bad job. They need to start doing a great job though.

So many perfectly scripted answers from the Ravens players... "We just have to work harder." "We have to do our job." "You have to understand the game." What do we need? An absolute phenomenon of a player to rally around. A war general. A ball hawk. A WR with glue on his hands. A QB who is relentless. A frustrated, pissed-off, passionate human being who isn't interested in media politics and knows how good we really are. Out of that belief comes championships.

I think the title of this article should have been, "Ravens need to win more games." Aren't they both kind of obvious?
