Week 10 Discussion (Other NFL Teams)

214 posts in this topic

Week 10 already? The Super Bowl will be here before we know it and then so will the draft. Again, we have a pretty lackluster week. Not many good games on outside of Patriots/Giants and Seahawks/Cardinals. The way this whole season has been, something tells me the playoffs will be weeks of a Panthers/Cardinals Wild Card mess from last year.

Defeated or Undefeated?

Panthers @ Titans: The Titans pulled out a huge win in OT as Marcus Mariota showed off what he could do without Ken Whisenhunt. Don't think he'll be that successful against the Stingy Carolina Defense. Don't see an upset here, Carolina remains undefeated.

Texans @ Bengals: We haven't had a home game on MNF since 2012, yet the Bengals who have trouble selling tickets get a home MNF game? Anyway, Houston is a team we and the rest of the AFC, specifically the AFC South are lucky they don't have a legit QB. Cincy walks right over Houston and remains undefeated.

P*triots @ Giants: Deflated Footballs + Spygate = 4 Super Bowls. No scandal/Investigation = 2 Super Bowl losses. Eli "The P*triot Killer" Manning hosts the undefeated Patriots like in 2007. Since it's regular season, P*triots remain undefeated. If this were the Super Bowl, I pick the Giants since Eli has a knack for playoff football and beating Tom Br*dy in the Super Bowl... twice.

The Dirty (AFC) South

With Indy on a BYE, and Luck now gone 4-6 weeks, this crappy division is more crappier than it was even with Luck starting. If the following were to happen, the entire division would be tied through 10 weeks. Houston wins, they move into a first place tie at 4-5. If Jaguars were to win and Titans pull off the upset against Carolina, they would be tied for last at 3-6. So yeah........

Cardinals @ Seahawks: Pulling for Arizona a little bit but it is a prime time game, and we know Seattle's luck with the officiating. I know it's for MNF it seems, but we'll get a good indication of what we are up against on SNF.

Vikings @ Raiders: I feel this game could go anyway. Carr is playing extremely well, so is Bridgewater. Peterson is his old self, so either team can win. Both are playing for wild card spots but the Vikings need this win more with the Packers slipping up the past two weeks.

Bills @ Jets: Blah Blah Rex Ryan returns to New Jersey where he coached the Jets, Blah Blah former coach playing against his old team, blah blah, etc. That about covers it.

I can't cheer for the Jets. Half my family is Bills fans and I like seeing Tyrod succeed.

I feel the same way, except for the family of Bills fans. I'd like to see them succeed if we aren't. However, if you were to tell me that we would turn it on and win a bunch of games in a row, GO JETS!!!

Im liking these uniforms

It should be these two teams wearing these kits on Christmas Day and not the Raiders and Chargers.

Im liking these uniforms

Me, too. Not for a permanent change, but this type of special one-time thing. They both work.

Even the NFL is into the Christmas Spirit before Thanksgiving!

Just one thing though, how can the NFL fine players for cleats, socks, wanting to wear pink on their uniform for Breast Cancer, etc yet allow the players to wear these jerseys?

The Jags next week will be interesting. They're a tan hue

Here you go.... this is what the Titans/Jags uniforms will be next week.

Speaking of which, how did that game get on Thursday Night Football?

Lesean mccoy has been my biggest fantasy disappointment the last two years.

Last year I drafted him with my first round pick. This year I got a mid-round flier on him and he has done zilch.

Well, that was quick.  Watching other kickers makes me grateful for Justin Tucker.

The more the weeks go by, Tucker's price tag goes up.

How long after Manuel gets cut will he get a thread on RT?

Honestly, he'd probably be a better backup than Schaub.

Nice stop by the Jets. I shudder to think how that third down play would have gone against us.

That was the first penalty all of the second half? Wow, I wish refs would call more games like this. Penalty Free and letting the player decide the game.

Jets receivers getting it done. Compare Fitzpatrick atm to what he was last season and that says just how much a potent running game and a few good weapons can do for a QB (hint: they can do a lot).
