"The point Morgan was trying to make is that he feels there isn't a major drop in the caliber of quarterback. It's not like he was going from the Saints to the Houston Texans or New York Jets."

... or from Flacco to Kaepernick.. .right, Torrey? ;)

. Even if they went 10-6 could they still make the playoffs? I think the 8-0 belief is possible, but is that record good enough to get us in the playoffs or would we just be pushing back our draft picks?

I think we have too much of a talent drought to make a deep playoff push, even if Flacco recovers his SB postseason form.

Unfortunately we will probably win enough games to harm our draft position but not to be in contention for a play-off spot.

Whether the Ravens go 8-0 or 0-8, I appreciate that the players have set a lofty goal and will be out on the field with maximum effort every week. Why not make 8-0 a goal? It would be the best come back story in the history of the NFL. As Justin Forsett indicated, if history is to be made, why not us? Even if the Ravens don't come anywhere close to a comeback, instilling the never quit/fighting mentality (a la SSS), will bode well for us next year. And who knows when and which team who was doubted and counted out will be the 1 to have a miracle comeback? At least every player will come out swinging and play their hearts out.

At one point couple of weeks back I wasn't even excited to turn my GamePass on on Sundays. But now I'm really excited again, because if we win the next one (and the next after that, and so on), we'll be one inch closer to making history by pulling of an absolute miracle of a come back. But if we lose, I'll be just as glad because that means we'll be one inch closer to getting absolute beast in the first round of draft, I have no doubt about Oz being able to pick another HoF with such a high pick. Excited as hell again!

8 - 0 I would agree with IF they had Steve Smith healthy. Ravens do have a schedule that they could still get some W's but with no true play maker on offense I can see 8 - 8. Justin would have to run wild and one of the WR's really step up. The defense would have to start creating turnovers to get some short fields and stop drives. There is no question the Ravens will challenge themselves because that's who they are. Hardest game is Cincy and at that point they might not have anything to play for. Go for it ! 10 - 6 would be crazy.

Can we go 8-0? We just lost the only leader on the team, who basically kept us in the game each week. So pardon my realistic logic when I say this but... No, we wont.

Yes they can go 8-0! All the games were close and the Defense is fighting hard! And those that don't appreciate their efforts need to seek medical attention and they sound very spoiled to me! Need some teams to lose as well! "RELENTLESS" is not just for the players! LETS GO!

That is my fear, as well.  We are not a bad team.  We are a mediocre team.  We will end with a mediocre record and get mediocre draft picks.

No one gave us a chance to beat the Broncos in Denver then the Patriots in Foxboro then go on to win the Super Bowl either. If it can be done, we are just the guys to do it.

I will pull for them every week, hope for a win every week, and I appreciate your enthusiasm, and I expect all of us to be cheering them on!  But I would not put a bet on them making the playoffs, unless I had money to throw away.

Regarding Jacoby Jones, what excited fans is Sarah referring to in this article?

He hasn't caught a single ball and his return skills have diminished. Put it this way, Marlon Brown is 10x better in terms of production to date. That's saying something

No way we go 8-0 with harbs coaching(yes everyone he actually hired pees and trestman people so don't keep blaming the employees its just crazy talk!)....the guy is field goal crazy!!....And even though we are the most exciting team in the nfl (win or lose)this year is toast, maybe someone will give harbaugh some imagination for xmas......just please look forward to the draft and get in best available player mode!!

I would feel much better about our chances at 3-5, instead of 2-6. Once again, just like the last time we missed the playoffs, losing to inferior teams(Cleveland and SF)is gonna come back and bite us in the behind!

The draft is weak at receiver and even weaker at pass rusher. I definitely do not think that there are any players worth tanking for in order to get a prime draft pick. Bosa is by far the best pass rusher, but since he generates most of the pressure he gets from the inside, he is more of a 4-3 end than a 3-4 outside linebacker. Most of the top receivers are slot guys, which is not really a top pick-worthy position.

I still believe in my team, it won't be easy. but if we go on a little streak coming out of our bye.

jags, rams, browns, dolphins not easy but winnable games if Joe plays consistent. We're at home against the seahawks on sunday night so we can take that one. then its the chiefs and steelers at home. last game against the bengals, but they might not be playing for much since they'll already have the division wrapped up. like i said, won't be easy. But theres a chance. Lets get it Ravens Nation!

Our schedule is easy, but there are definitely still a lot of things to clean up in order to beat the better teams in the league. Keep playing with heart, and playing balanced sound football, and we will be in a position to win every game. Jerry Rosberg earned his keep again last week. What he is doing to the special teams unit is impressive.

We can go 8-0 and we will go 8-0. I have faith. As blind as it may be, I still have it. #GoRavens

Count me in!

There is absolutely zero chance we go 8-0 down the stretch. I think this is more accurate:

Week 10: Jaguars- W

Week 11: Rams- L

Week 12: Browns- L

Week 13: Dolphins- L

Week 14: Seahawks- L

Week 15: Chiefs- W

Week 16: Steelers- L

Week 17: Bengals- L

I really hope we lose them all and get a top 3 pick, but we'll see how it goes.
