Ravens are in the top 10 of total offense avg 357 yards per game.  Trestman isn't the problem folks.

Will Hill is currently ranked THIRD in the top 32 safeties list.  I'm very glad he's making the most of this opportunity.

Will Hill is balling, shame he is not getting more INT's. Also that guy nailed it with Ray Lewis impersonation should bring him to locker room for some speeches.

The Ray Lewis trick or treat motivational pep talk is hysterical. Love the duct tape eye black. Perfect imitation of Ray Lewis.

I was hoping Steve Smith's roster spot would be filled by signing Jacoby now that he's free again - but knew all along it's much more just a hope than anything else - after all, he's not been much of a factor in San diego either, and with Ross we no longer have pressing needs at kick returning either.

Trestman IS a part of the problem folks. He's a fineness coach, or in other words, I don't need speed or to go deep (how many times has Flacco even attempted to go deep?), watch me out scheme you with my short passes. And is passive aggressive with the running game, he's like look I called x-amount of runs and the didn't work.

Don't expect Pitta to suit up. It would be uplifting to see him do so and prosper, but the personal risks are too great and have life-long implications. It would be reckless.

As well, as much as I love Jacoby Jones and as much as we miss his big plays, it wouldn't help us any to sign him. He's a speedster for sure, but he had butter fingers all through 2014, which is why Ravens ultimately released him.

It's awesome to see Will Hill III as the 3rd best safety in the game so far this year. He's been a bright spot in our secondary. I can also see Darian Stewart there, who we dropped and who was picked up by Denver...

They Rank 15th in scoring and don't pass the eye test.

When you play the corners back 10 to 15 yards on plays is it any wonder the other team gets those easy 5-8 yard receptions over and over and over? Pees needs to work on getting them to tighten up that coverage some. That bend but don't break philosophy might have been good way back when, but in today's nfl it looks lame.

I'd rather give up 5-8 yard easy receptions than 60 yard TDs because our corners can't press and our safeties can't cover over the top (Will Hill I'm talking about you). And the corners play off because we have to blitz so much to get any pass rush at all.

Perriman is "weeks away from a return" -- Some Analyst ...

Sorry, don't call this an "update". The only thing that would qualify as an "update" would have to come from the Ravens organization.

But don't hold your breath on that ... there is no one in the building who is about to go out on a limb to provide further speculation on the mystery injury of the century.

I agree, but we don't know how to play press. We think it means the defender stands closer to the receiver at the LOS and then watches him run past. We don't impede, disrupt or redirect.

Still reeling from the loss of Steve Smith Sr.... it'll be a miracle to even consider going 8-0 without him and Sizzle. I am just hoping for a miracle.

Morgan seems like a gem, but there's that IR connection again. Maybe if we sign a few more guys with a lot of IR time, Perriman can have some buddies.

Hill is a very solid SS. He looks great, almost at all times ... except for when he's called upon to cover over the top.

We can talk about WR, CB or OLB ... but FS may be the #1 biggest need this team has.

Are you saying you think Pitta will come back next year, or that he is done?  At what point, exactly, does he say, "Yes, I can play football?"  How much waiting is too much waiting?

I was hoping too. Jacoby would seem to fit. He might be better than the 2 we just signed. We know that he can stretch the field, we really wouldn't have to use him on punts. He would probably come pretty cheap beings that the Chargers are probably paying him part of his money. He is familiar with Flacco.

I'm sure our front office knows more about the other guys than I do, so I am not really going to question as to why them and not Jones. They know what they are doing.

What did he show us on Sunday?  Absolutely nothing.

I'm not agreeing or disagreeing with you but on Sunday, the way Koch and tucker were kicking, it wouldn't have mattered if Dion Sanders was back there. Koch was a stud.

and dont forget to play the linebackers 10 yards off in thirfd down and 2 minute situations and play the safeties off antonio gates so he can turn a 5 yard pass into a 30 yard gain

Yea we are ranked 10th but only because we have been playing from behind all year. Tresman still need to run the ball more to keep is balance.

Four stories that give me hope:

1. Ravens don't trade at the deadline, hang on to a pile of draft picks.

2. Ravens are in the top 10 offenses.

3. Smallest point differential for a losing team in NFL history.

4. Harbaugh, Ozzie, Biscotti, and Flacco, are all still around.

It's an illusion that this year's Ravens are a bad team, the W/L column tells a distorted story. I know it's a perennial statement of bad team fans to say "just wait until next year," however, the statistics support the claim. The Ravens are solid - contenders even - but victims of a series of unfortunate events. A cache of high draft picks will complement a sound foundation.

I think that point of saying "Yes, I can play football" has to happen within the next week.  If he says yes, then the Ravens have to decide if they want him to play at the expense of dropping Morgan or someone else to carry 4 TEs.  Personally I think he's done and he and the Ravens will work out the most financially team-friendly exit.
