I see we are bolstering our WR corps very well...

In all seriousness I hope he pans out. We need play makers desperately.

Edit: to comply with rules

Never heard of Joe Morgan. My expectations of any WR gotten mid season are pretty questionable. I thought the Ravens would consider Jacoby despite his obvious shortcomings because he was a deep threat with Joe and he has a familiarity factor. Acts of desperation right now I guess, to have enough WRs to survive the season. I am wondering what makes Joe Morgan a better prospect than our PS guys. Looks like we will hear about him soon enough after he gets signed.

He's a punt returner too!

Actually, he's not. He's never returned a punt or a kick in a regular season game.

The ONE clip you are showing, if you notice, was from an August game, meaning preseason.

We already have plenty of guys who can return kicks.

I'd prefer RJ Harris. UNH standout... former Arundel HS (also set Maryland State Records in High School... UDFA currently on the Saints PS.. why not?

I wouldn't say we have plenty, but it's more depth at least. I'm hoping he can at least bring something to the table.

My guess is as a situational deep threat on offense that we will rarely see. May also be a frequent gameday inactive as well.

We don't need depth. We need someone to make a play. Not this garbage that keeps being thrown at the problem. Could've given a 2nd by the deadline for a good receiver. Instead we will spend that second on a middle linebacker that'll never see the field

Who would you have traded a 2nd round pick for at the deadline?  I agree that the receivers we keep throwing out there are not good but we really don't have any other options at this point. A trade would have been senseless

Weeks away? I'm not trying to turn this into a Perriman thread but this better not be true. If by weeks they mean two weeks, or rather our next game, then that's fine.

I felt like White made sense, although it looks like he didn't go anywhere so it's hard to guess whether he was on the block or not. Perhaps we didn't see the value in giving up a pick for a rental during an obvious down year.

Well let's see.... Roddy White, Golden Tate, Mohamed Sanu, Marvin Jones, etc... I can go on and on. All better than the [profanity deleted] we currently have at receiver.

Implies that any of those receivers were even available for trade, which there isn't much indication that they were.

Despite what fans generally think, it actually does require TWO teams wanting to trade in order to make a trade.

In particular, I have literally no idea why teams competing for playoff spots like the Bengals or Falcons would want to dump these players, as they could be very useful to them down the stretch. Typically, its the in contention team that is trading picks for players, not the other way around.

You didn't hear? At 2-6 we can still do it!!!! We are going to come off this bye and get blown out by JAC. Those 2 Allens are incredible WRs

I didn't think it made alot of sense for The Falcons to trade him with Jones and Hankerson  injury issues especially Jones whom  has had trouble staying healthy which has cause him to miss games at times.

Okay at least we have enough bodies at WR. I am pleased with that. Whether they are good or otherwise will be soon determined.

Yeah I agree honestly. I think the reality is the Falcons had little reason to trade him despite those rumors that he was unhappy blocking guys and wanted out. They're also in a playoff race so why trade him?

As for those comments about Sanu, why would the Bengals trade a player they may need to a divisional rival trying to make the playoffs? That really makes no sense.

I certainly wouldn't give a second round pick for any of them. That's a bit steep.

tate maybe if he was the missing piece for us to win a SB this season.

others no way.

not even sure why the teams would trade them.

falcons and bengals are looking to be heading for the play offs.

why would they weaken their team.

why on earth would the bengals strengthen a division rival and weaken themselves.

also roddy looks to be heading to FA in the coming off season and same probably goes for sanu and jones.

who in their right mind would trade a 2nd rounder for a half year rental on a team thats has almost no chance to make the play offs.
