Looks like Curry's about to hit 400 three-pointers for the season too (on 398 and it's still eight minutes until half-time). Say what you want about how they're lucky or they're a product of the system, but you don't fluke the kind of success the Warriors have had this year.

Meanwhile, the Magic have had to make do with a 35-win season. The play-off hunt was nice while it lasted.

The record has officially fallen - the Warriors have been a lot of fun to watch this season, so I hope they can back it up and win it all this year.

And I've never been a fan of Kobe (like, at all), but that last game was impressive. 60 points (lol), including the go-ahead with a few seconds left. I was kinda hoping they'd set up one last play with 4 seconds left so he could jack up one last shot even though the game was over.

Anybody who says that team is lucky is just plain stupid.  If they hit 40 3's in one game or something, ok.  But over a course of a year, almost every single night, they flat out destroyed teams.  Curry and Thompson had their worst shooting nights of their career on the same night and barely lost to the Spurs.

I would like to know the previous record for threes in a season by a team and what the Warriors did this season.

No matter the feelings towards Kobe. You can never deny what he brought to the game. The NBA is going to feel weird without him. We don't really have a young upcoming competitor that brings the ferocity that he did. Kobe was a cold blooded assassin, and even with how good a guy like Curry is, we will miss Kobe. Say what you want about him as a person, he's easily one of the greatest ever

This may be a bit much, but now that Kobe is gone, I believe the era of basketball that we all enjoyed is over.  With the "bad guy" or that raw edge feeling...I see no one in the NBA that reminds me of the greats now.  Lebron is just going with the flow...its becoming a joke in Cleveland.  Curry is great...and possibly the most fun to watch, but theres something missing there for me.  Westbrook is also a blast too watch...I don't know if im finding the right words...but now that Kobe is gone...I feel like the NBA that I loved is dead.  And I wasn't even a big fan of his...

Rockets are prob done. Harden is honestly the most overrated player in the league only followed by the second most overrated in Dwight.

even with a limited Curry. They have more depth.

Pistons putting up a fight

Off topic of playoffs, but I just watched a youtube made doc on Jordan playing for the Wizards.  Insane how he could still ball that well...play defense and everything.  But you could slowly see the age creeping up...but was still a top guy that year

Absolutely! But then again, when the first round of the playoffs have been so lackluster, sometimes you have to talk about the past.

The NBA screwed up by making it a 7game series.   I honestly think the first round should be 3 games. Then the rest 5. Then the championship 7 games.

But yea... I'll watch re-runs of Jordan any day over this generation

Dom,

No Doubt.  Of all the teams I wanted the Grizz, Houston Dallas and the Clips to fade in the playoffs but one of them will be in round 2   Hoping we are there as well.

We have not been in a second round since before 2000, I believe

Luol Deng? More like Luol Rang. Was keeping the game alive for the Raptors for the last 7 minutes of PT. Not sure if I'm looking forward to the rest of the series.

I am a OKC fan mainly because Enes is playing really good. But I must say it hurts my eyes watching OKC iso plays all night.

Don't know why they brought Billy Donovan. I can coach as much as he does... Give the ball to Westbrook or KD, they force a shot if they make it good. If not try to grab the offensive rebound.

Sad to see the most offensively talented team of the nba struggling like this, no plan no strategy no passing no open looks. Can you imagine Pop coaching OKC?

Pop coaching this team could very well be a dynasty. Should OKC lose this series, I think this could be the last time we see KD play in a OKC jersey,

To be honest, I would prefer KD to be traded for a SF and a SG. Roberson is the worst "shooting" guard. OKC has enough shooting threat without KD and KD is not a good defender. I would prefer Leonard instead of KD, because he is an all around better player.

The biggest problem in OKC is a good SG and a good head coach. Let KD walk away for a good SG and a good SF then this team will win the championship.

KD is reckless and he is affecting other players. Ibaka said that he feels left out. They all work hard on defense and KD don't give a s. All he cares about is forcing shots. That's not only a KD problem it's a coaching problem. They made a horrible mistake with Billy.  Sam Presti will be on fire after this year because of his coaching decision.

I mean look at the lineup he put on at the 3rd quarter during the last game,

Pg: Payne

Sg: Waiters

Sf: Morrow

PF: Durant

C: Kanter

Like look at the defense. None of these players are good defender.

Look at offense, none of these players can pass the ball. Maybe Payne but he is a rookie and he doesn't know what he is doing. How do you expect to score or defend with this line up?

I watched almost all of the OKC games this year and unless Billy is fired this team is not winning a championship. I see that he was a good college coach but he clearly is not a good NBA coach.

Reckless? You sure you're not mistaken KD for Westbrook? Now THAT'S a player who plays with recklessness from time to time. You guys need a coach who can actually implement an offense. ISOs by KD and Westbrook does not count as an offense with structure.

Dude, how can you say this if you have watched so many of the Thunder games.  Almost every single person who watches the NBA will say Westbrook is out of control when handling ball, albeit he is incredible.
