When I want the Ravens to win they lose, when I don't mind them losing they win... and then lose the one player I least want them to lose. Can they indulge me at least once this season? Please!!!

i don't know why pees was dialing up soft coverage against the chargers up until they reached field goal range and then they tightened up. why let them get that far to begin with? they managed to tie the game! also, i really don't want to see any ball thrown marlon browns way. he has proven that he can't catch anything. we shouldn't rely on him. juszczyk has proven himself, use him more!

Part of the reason teams don't take fan criticism seriously is because it's all praise when they win, and all doubt and disdain when they lose, regardless of how lucky the wins or how hard-fought the losses.

1. I'm excited to see Chris Givens get involved more in our scheme. That back-shoulder pass late in the game from Joe to Givens made me jump outta my seat. Maybe it's just me, but back shoulder passes are the sign of a highly sophisticated passing attack. QB-WR timing, WR athleticism, QB reading of defense, pinpoint accuracy with the pass, all around execution. All of this is required to pull off passes like that. I think we got a good player in Givens.

2. The refs made some atricious calls yet again. That Phantom PI call on a clearly uncatchable ball from Rivers almost cost us this week as well. Refs HAVE to stop guessing they saw something when they clearly didn't see anything. Flagging Will Hill for unnecessary roughness for body slamming Gordon even though no whistle was blown? This to a team that was robbed for not playing til the whistle last week by shoddy refereeing on the Chris Johnson run?

3. I hope the next 2 weeks with our bye are used to build more chemistry on defense. Some of those coverages we telegraphed to Rivers well before his snap were absolute amateur hour. I know they're reluctant to add layers of awareness because we're already struggling back in the secondary but Pees and crew have to build these guys' confidence enough to where they feel comfertable calling off blitzes prior to the snap if it's plainly obvious the QB has picked up on it and changed the play right in front of Darryl Smith and Mosely.

4. I think Asa has earned back the right to return some kicks. Rossburg should let him see if he can rip a good return off.

5. If it is indeed SSS last game, what a way to call it a career? 3rd and long and he finds a way to beat coverage, running so hard and fast that his own body gave out. Amazing man. Amazing athlete.

PS- Ray Lewis. All Ravens fans have to do is look at each other and say those two words. Ray Lewis. We all know what he means to us.

I still can't get over the officiating in the NFL these days. Fortunately most of the bone headed calls (or missed calls) went our way for a change, but still....unnecessary roughness on Will Hill? or missing Asa Jackson offsides? Oh well.

This win was bitter sweet, with SSS suffering the Achilles injury. I liked how we closed out the game in the fourth quarter this time but I am depressed that I may never see SSS on the field in a Ravens uniform again. I was not ready for that.

Outside of the gross missed assignment on the 70 yard TD I think the defense played a solid game. The short crossing routes when our guys blitzed was the only thing working consistently for the Chargers. I was also impressed with the offense as a whole. I just fear it's too late to make any playoff run.

Gutsy win for our Ravens. I can't believe we have lost another player for the season! Steve, you are in our hearts and in our minds. Please come back. You are a Raven. Go Ravens.

1. I don't want Smith Sr. to go out like that. 2. Officials were terrible, once again 3. Trestman needs to run the ball more, feature TEs cause that's the strength of offense 4. Flacco carried the team to victory in the second half by turning busted plays into big plays 5. Got to love Tucker's emotion

1. Cut Marlon Brown, trade for wr.

2. A lot more 2 TE formations like last years team used

3. Yell at players more often (Ray Lewis speech, Pees speech)

4. Get Chris Givens more involved

5. Hire Ray Lewis as coach to fire these guys up every week.

1. Hope SSS comes back next year, go out on top 2. Great Job dealing with Adversity and Moving the Ball all day Flacco. 3. Will Hill is emerging 4. J Tuck, Ice and a Good Dancer 5. Coaches, you have 2 weeks to make some corrections, please take advantage of it. Good team Win, played decent on all 3 levels.

You fans that want to cut Brown after Ravens have 4 WR on injured reserve. A guy who stays healthy, drop two balls all year, and had to lose throws due to Steve. "One in the hand beats two in the bush". Get a better receiver coach and secondary coach.

I said this and got laughed at Asa "Ace Boogie" Jackson gotta be on the field more and special teams is just a start! Gotta get him back there in the secondary to make some plays and in the return game! The kid got some skills! Also I feel Trestman needs to go upstairs to see the field and the team better! Triple " S " "ICE UP SON" we need you next season! The win streak is on and poppin now! LET'S GO!

The secondary experiment failed with him like 3 years ago.

Time to let it go.

Offense stepped up, defense (in the 4th quarter) finally woke up, special teams was (and has been all year) special.......all in all a good day, except SSS going down.....that really, sucks. Get well Steve (re-think that retirement man, we need you back Raven) GO RAVENS!

we played more like Ravens today than any other. By that I mean we pulled it out at the end, even though it was a tough game. What I don't understand is why it took SSS to go down before the rest of the receivers would step up. Kamar Aiken started playing lights out! Ross and Givens started getting separation. It was amazing to see those guys get hot!

I noticed the 'other' Ravens receivers stepped it up after SSS was injured. Makes me wonder what dynamics are/were at play this season inside the receiving corp.

WR1: Aiken WR2: Givens WR3: Jeremy Ross. This is a WR competition in itself. For the No.3 Position next year. These guys are all in similar situations. They have been in the league for a few years but haven't gotten it done yet. It is a perfect opportunity to solidify themselves as Ravens. I'm intrigued to see how it shakes out.

Man,just watching the Broncos playing Defense is a joy, bracketed coverage, pressure on the QB from various sources, tight man, aggressively schemed up,stripping balls, I am so envious....how i used to take our defense for granted, thinking the elders would train the youngers, and history would repeat itself....what happened here??

You gotta be kidding?  Marlon Brown has failed during every opportunity.  He had a couple chances today to make plays and dropped a pass and couldnt catch the other one.  Givens and Ross seem to be playing a lot harder and they seem to have a feel for Joe.  Brown hasnt done much at all this year.  You can look good in practice but it only matters if it translates onto the field during gameday.
