Where do we pick?

After tonight's win, I'd say we're picking at the 5-8 range.

arent we already at 8 as of now? we still have miami... were gonna be picking 12-16

I really believe we're finishing with a four win season, that's just how I envision it. How many 4 win teams draft outside of the top 7? The Redskins if I can recall finished with a 4-12 record and ended up picking at 5. I think we'll be picking in the 5-7 range.

There is still plenty of Football left to be played, and upsets become more apparent later on in the season.

Can't put a price on a winning culture. Way more valuable than a draft pick as we just saw with the Browns.

Completely agree. I would much rather see the team play well and win then watch them roll over.

Make it four. I still get emotional over the games.

Make it five. This is why I'm not giving up on playoff hopes until the NFL says that mathematically we are eliminated from making it. At 9-7 we can go on a run, have a few things happen and boom we are the sixth seed out of nowhere. Also we picked 17th in 2014 and got a pretty good player in Mosley, we got Flacco at 18 in 2008, so I like how people think it's the end of the world if we don't pick in the top five/ten.

Sucks we won't get an elite player now tho.

that's not necessarily true at all. Never know who will end up being a bust. This could be a blessing in disguise. Bosa may be a bust and Hargreaves may end up falling right in our lap and being the next Revis. You just never know. And don't forget that Antonio brown was drafted in the 6th round. Elite talent can be found anywhere, just gotta pick smart.

I think we win 5 games and I still think we may end up right at 5. 8 at the lowest. And that stil puts us right in range to grab Hargreaves or Ramsey. If not then Stanley may be our guy.

Well, this takes some of the stress off for me, personally. Hoping we get the #2 overall was too much work.

At this point we're #8, and we've got the Phins on the horizon, and they've just fired their OC and entered full-on tank mode. Phins have a terrible coaching staff, whereas our coaching staff is actually good and still trying to win. Harbaugh has never lost to Miami, so I wouldn't be surprised if we win. Seems like a 50/50 game. Week 17 could be another win if Cincinnati isn't playing for anything.

I think when it's all said and done we'll be drafting in the 8-12 range.

/also I really hope we fire Dean Pees at the very least, since we're not getting any of the blue-chip prospects at this point without trading up.

Bosa

VH3

Ramsey

Tunsil

Stanley

Treadwell

Myles Jack

Jaylon Smith

Jack Conklin

Those are ten guys I like and in all liklihood both Goff and Lynch are going in the top 10 as well. As long as we're top 12 all of those guys will help us immensley.

Wouldn't take Jaylon Smith, Myles Jack, or Jack Conklin with a top 15 pick if the others above are still there.

I thouroughly agree. Those are the worst case scenarios for us though is what I'm saying, and I like all three of them.

I like Smith as the only one worthy of a top 15 pick...

Shoot, if that's who's there, I'm trading back

Yup. I see it that way too tbh. Though I do really like Jack. I honestly think that he'd solve a major problem of ours off the bat.

I just think he'll take a fall out of the top 15. I don't really see a team taking a high chance. That'd be that trade up to secure a fifth year option type player.

Different draft. You could get 1st round value in round 3

From SB Nation, the official Draft Order after Monday Night Football. If you think going from 4 to 8 is bad in a span of a week, the Lions went from 5th to 12th with that win over the Eagles on Thanksgiving.

1. Tennessee Titans

2. Cleveland Browns

3. Dallas Cowboys

4. San Diego Chargers

5. San Francisco 49ers

6. Miami Dolphins

7. Jacksonville Jaguars

8. Baltimore Ravens

9. Philadelphia Eagles

10. St. Louis Rams

11. New Orleans Saints

12. Detroit Lions

13. New York Giants

14. Tampa Bay Buccaneers

15. Oakland Raiders

16. Buffalo Bills

17. Chicago Bears

18. New York Jets

19. Atlanta Falcons

20. Pittsburgh Steelers

Might sound a bit strange, but the thing that excited me most about a top 3 or 4 pick was the potential to get a first round talent in the second.

If you're smart, more often than not you will pick up a starter in the first round. However with a high 2nd round pick you have a chance of getting another due to other teams reaching in the 1st.

Hargreaves/ Ramsey in the 1st and a decent pass rusher in the high 2nd could make the world of difference to this defense.

This draft SUCKS, outside of the Tunsil,Bosa,VH3 and Ramsey there's no one in the first round I'm interested in besides Treadwell.

Ogbah's a late first early second round talent in most drafts. We HAD to choose to suck THIS year!

Elite players don't have to be in the top 5.  Many fall outside of the top 5.  Ramsey has the possibility of being around at 8 and so does VH3.  Doubtful VH3 is there, but it is possible.

Here is my prediction of final record for above  teams after going over the remaining schedule.

1. Titans 3 - 13 (with a win at home against the Jags

2. Browns 3-13 (beat the 9ers)

3. Fins 3-13 (won't win anymore games)

4. Cowboys 4-12 (will split with the Skins)

5. 49ers 4-12 (will win one more game)

6. Eagles 4-12 (won't win anymore games this season)

7. Chargers 5-11 (will win two of remaining games)

8. Ravens 5-11 (will beat the Fins for final win of season)

9. Jags 6-10 (will win 2 more game)

10.Rams 6-10 (will win two more games)

Don't know how the strength of schedule will play out at that point but it looks like we will still be picking 8th if we win one more game.

We can get a damn good player at 8 but I wouldn't be surprised if we lose the rest of our games. I can see us going 4-12 or 7-9 at best if we beat Miami, the Steelers and the Bengals if they're resting starters. That put the Browns at 8 last year. Still think we have a good shot at VH3, Ramsey, Treadwell or Boyd. Any of them would help immediately.

with the way the AFC is going and no one locking up 1st seed until prob last day steelers and bengals will be all out for different reasons.

In that scenario I'm drafting Treadwell. He'd be the best player if Hargreaves is already gone.
