Where do we pick?

My Dirty 6 are as follows:

1. Joey Bosa, Edge, Ohio State

Bosa is #1 because we do need more consistent pass rush that takes attention away from others. Bosa is that guy and he can be used much like McPhee. He's like a super-McPhee crossed with JJ Watt.

2. Laremy Tunsil, OT, Ole Miss

Tunsil is locked-in next to Bosa as my #1 prospect. He's so smooth and such a good pass protector & run blocker; however, I can see the team trust in Castillo to develop another guy  a little later, a penchant of which he has shown fully capable after Peters, Wagner, Jensen, Mathis, Urschel, & others. Obviously he can't turn water to wine (Hurst), but there's a lot of good talent at LT this year in Conklin, Duhl, Spriggs even (Not his biggest fan but I do like him).

3. DeForest Buckner, DL, Oregon

This guy is ridiculously talented rushing the passer & better than Nkemdiche IMO. I first started watching him about two weeks ago and really caught up this week. He's great and very underrated. I'm really cautious with Oregon players, though. I also wouldn't be surprised if Chip Kelly took him for his defense & put him at DE in the 4-3 if he went to Tennessee.

4. Ronnie Stanley, OT, Notre Dame

See Tunsil.

5. Jalen Ramsey, S, FSU

Probably get some looks here but Ramsey is a very good player and only recently overtook Hargreaves. This is because while I really like Hargreaves (still in my top-10 but not my top-6), he frankly didn't show up like I hoped at the end of the year. Ramsey, meanwhile, played better than Hargreaves. I also like his versatility. While I do think he is more of a SS, that doesn't mean he can't become a better FS. I also like how he presses, and I think he's an ideal complement to Jimmy Smith. His backpedal needs work, but he's very athletic with very good hips. I think he's a lot like Marcus Peters or even an Aqib Talib.

6. LaQuan Treadwell, WR, Ole Miss

My #1 WR even before the Bowl game. He may remain here, depending further review. I've watched enough Ole Miss games & other games now that I have to say this guy is really good. He is a lot like Dez Bryant, and frankly we need that here. We do not have an elite, scary weapon on offense except an older WR about to retire. Brady has Gronk, Manning had Thomas, Ryan has Jones, Manning has Beckham Jr...we need our guy for Joe. Joe  needs someone like this.  Treadwell gets YAC and that's a HUGE deal. Those throws thrown short of the first down? He can probably get a few of those converted.

Tbh. A future combo of Perriman and Treadwell scares the bejesus out of me.. Which is a good thing. Two tall, faster threats with strong hands and physicality?

Manziel didn't show up to be evaluated by the Browns medical staff this morning and couldn't be reached by phone. He's done. I'm now confident that the Browns take a QB which should let someone nice slide to us.

he is such an idiot

that's what I'm sayin! Joe would absolutely fall in love with treadwell. We need guys who can get yac and make big plays out of nothing. With Perriman stretching the field and Treadwell being the big body to move the chains with aiken working the middle we could really have some thing special. If we could trade back and aquire an extra 2nd while still nabbing Treadwell - I think that has to be the ideal scenario right now.

I think the ideal pairing would actually be Boyd. Treadwell really comes second only because of the value that initial pick has in my mind. I don't see much drop off between him and Boyd. If we took him I wouldn't be mad but i really think that pick needs to go to another position. Corneback/lineman or linebacker. We're really needing youth now and it's primed with that at the top for those positions. Tunsil may fall with the current state of affairs of the teams ditching their front office personnel/coaches. The Browns, Chargers, 49ers, Eagles, Cowboys , Giants may all be in flux by Monday morning and the old regimes will look to put there stamps on the franchise. Phillip Rivers, Kap and Manzel will likely part ways creating vacancies. That's three teams already that may look to draft a QB. Then you'll have holes via free agency. The #6 pick could fetch a hell of a lot in this year and next years draft. I actually think Ozzie trades back in order to have a least (3) twos.

One in the late 1st.

one in the early 2nd at our original spot.

And mid 2nd at worst.

If he got 2/2 and a 3rd he'd still be fleecing the draft. (in this years draft)

A lot of damage could be done. He'd get great value and bolster the needs with cap friendly acquisitions.

I think he just doesn't want to be a Brown because of  what's been going on with the organization. Honestly it's probably  tough for any player to stay committed to a  organization like The Browns with how they treat their coaches and etc. I seen reports that The Browns had alot of young coaches coaching their players which at times can back fired when trying to keep immature players in check along with other things.

Manziel overall needs to a team that's more professional and more willing to demand him to be professional at all times.

As much as I want a young pass rusher or a stud LT, I can definitely get on board with Treadwell and a 2nd round pick.

that's the thing though, I think a dynamic pass rusher can still be found in the second a nice cb in the third the way things are looking now.

Don't see the comp pick thread, so I'll just state this here. Tyrod in the Pro Bowl...can we steal another comp? Fingers crossed.

I think the biggest thing Taylor does for us is he helps us offset the Lewis signing so we can get a compensatory pick for Darian Stewart, who had the salary, playing time, and postseason success to get us a pretty good compensatory pick.

That's a good angle to look at it.
