Where do we pick?

Gee i wonder what that means anout the teams behind us

And no qb is worth a top 6 pick

there rarely is, doesnt stop teams from taking them, and it wont stop desperate teams this year either.

also, the teams behind us, well they have a lower pick, each passed pick holds less value, as reaches happen and talents fall, teams see more value. most teams would be a lot more comfortable taking a guy like myles jack at 10th overall than they would at 6th. if we dont see value at 6th overall, its possible another team does and is worried about their guy getting taken, be it a qb, a supreme athlete like nkemdiche that a few GM's are bound to be enamored by, or a modern weapon at an undervalued position like jack/smith. not every gm approaches the draft the same way, just because ozzie doesnt see the value at 6th doesnt mean nobody else will, especially teams that feel they are 1 specific player away from contention.

Think they'd rather just give Cleveland a 6th rounder for Manziel. Goff isn't a slam dunk player, I don't see Dallas moving on from Romo yet.

they wouldn't be moving on from romo- they would be getting his replacement ready due to the fact that he's only got a few years left and he's been banged up. Most teams don't wait until the last minute, they make plans ahead of time so the qb can learn the system and get groomed a bit and learn from romo. Especially this year while they have the opportunity with the high pick. Not saying that's the route they will go but it's certainly a possibility and it's definitely bring talked about. On the issue of trading back, I actually think the Eagles could be a trade partner. They really wanted Mariota last year, and Bradford lost his starting job there. Not to mention there could be a new coach coming in who would want to start fresh with a new QB. I can picture them wanted to jump ahead of some teams to make sure they get a QB they like.

Assuming the Eagles don't win the division, that'll put in the Ravens in the middle of the first round. They could take Ogbah (if he's still around), Mackensie Alexander, Tra'Davious White, Treadwell, or Mike Williams, and have an extra first rounder next year.

i think chip is in philly for a while, hes got a fat contract and i think they wanna give him one more year before the org eats that money, however, jared goff could very well be an attractive prospect for chips system, quick release, good movement  behind the line when needed, pinpoint accuracy with great velocity in the intermediate, leads his receivers very well at all levels of the field, he strikes me as a prototypical chip kelly guy.

so who do we want to win tonight? the cowboys winning pushes them down, but the redskins are 1 loss away from joining the logjam behind us, meaning if we win one more game then thats just one more team we are depending on SOS with, idk which one is better

Washington will find other wins. I hope the Cowboys take this one.

Yeah, a Cowboys win would be really beneficial for us.

To trade back there must be a talent available another team must have. A prospect doesn't have to be good for a team to want them enough to trade up to get them. We've seen this before in the draft where teams trade up for a player they fall in love with that they really want who's not that great.

Yes but that requires a team to think that and be willing to pay an exorbitant price. Tell me who you think would be available that would be worth the ransom. If there is no one on the Ravens board worth that, its likely that other teams won't value anyone that high. If there were a player, Ravens would likely stay there and draft.

there is bound to be teams that think much more highly of prospects than us. I'll bet the 4-3 teams think much more highly of Jaylon Smith and would absolutely be willing to pay a price for him while we probably won't even consider him in the top10.

our team could easily transition to a 4-3..we have the pieces.

Heres to hoping San Diego and Tennesse can pull of a miracle.

i believe the titans can win another game.

its so annoying that will hill kick 6 made this complicated. we would be a sure fire number one pick if the browns made that field goal :/

but we arent a 4-3 and i dont think we go spending top 10 picks on players specific to a scheme that we havent run "full-time" since 2006

I can't root for us to lose, I'd rather root for other teams to win, so I can't be upset about that Kick 6. I think we'll be picking in the top 5, but if we win another game I wouldn't rage.

Not likely they will trade for a linebacker especially in the top 10 and especially when there is another one that could fall due to meniscus injury.

I probably wasn't clear, but I agreed with you. I don't see the talent there for a team to trade up; however, it could happen if a team is crazy enough a la Tim Tebow and the Broncos. smh

Ya know, even with how bad our season is going, top-pick seeding is really making football fun to watch. Ordinarily, only when I have money on the line would a MNF game between the dreadful Cowboys and Redskins be this exciting to watch.

Good job 'boys. Ruin your draft position. They would probably take VH3 from us if given the opportunity (and they may still do it if they trade up  )

This time of the year we're usually watching games intensely for how it affects our playoff seeding. This year we're doing the same thing but for draft position lol. We're spoiled, I don't mind being super into the draft at this time of year for once.

The NFC East is so weak that the Cowboys now have new life and a reason to go all out during these final 4 games. They could easily win their way out of VH3/Ramsey range and become a trade partner for us. I love both those guys but if we can get a big haul out of a trade I would gladly take a whoever falls through the cracks in the 8-12 range and have even more early picks to play with. I don't think 1 player is going to solve this team's problems, I think we have multiple areas we need to address with high end talent and a trade could be a great way to do that.

Tunsil!! Then one of Boyd/Williams/Doctson!! Retain KO,keep Urschel at center, Wagner comes back recovered and strong to take back his pro bowl status. And ravens have the most formidable and physical Oline in the league!! With a pair of young great runners the ravens will control the ball and thus the game. The physical Oline will wear down defenses and own the game after halftime!! The Oline has a legit shot to be the offensive version of the 2000 defense!! The offense would be high scoring and carry the defense with ball control and high octane scoring. Until ravens get some cap space and a couple drafts to reload the defense. If ravens keep KO and draft Tunsil Buck could very well accumulate 2000 all purpose yards!! All ravens fans have to love Buck and West running behind the most formidable Oline in the league!! And a receiver like Boyd,Williams or Doctson. And Maxx follow through his plan to reshape his body this offseason and get faster and stronger.

Winchester, man, you have to say it with me... Tunsil is a top3 pick, more likely top2, we would need the titans and chargers to finish with more wins than us to get him and that's not happening

I think San Diego can steal wins against Miami and Oakland. I'm really hoping they do it. I also hope a team like San Francisco or New Orleans run the tables with a trade up. I really think either of them would be very willing to get a QB like Lynch or Goff.

Yeah, if Tunsil is there I'm very confident he would be the pick but how can we get him if he's not there? lol
