I don't know. That Oakland loss hurts our chances of getting in at 9-7. It means they have to be worse, we won't own a tie breaker over them unless there are a bunch of other teams at 9-7 and crazy things happen.

Tiebreakers will absolutely be involved, and with many teams. We have such a slim shot, but certainly possible. By the way, the Raiders are 4-4, which puts them on pace for 8-8.

Perriman will play soon, maybe in this game. They are nearly done shooting the next reboot of Predator, so his schedule finally opens up for us.

I think this game is going to be a fantasy-lovers-dream shootout. A big turnover late will help tip the scales, and boy is our team (over)due to force one.

You happy now?  You've got me more excited for a Predator reboot than him actually playing.

Forgot I have actually had something to say about this.  This will not be an easy game.  I know none of them have been, but this one might disappoint.  I think the Jags have a lot more success than we'll be comfortable with, moving the ball through the air.

10-6 will get us in. 9-7 should depending on conference record of us compared to other teams. It'd also be really nice if the raiders go 8-8. I don't think we get in at 8-8.

I've done projections like a dozen times over the past week with different scenarios. 9-7 is like 50/50 for us getting in

Perriman is still out?!

I'm about to request we censor Perriman as profanity. It's about to get to that point for me.

Allen Robinson is becoming the dangerous WR alot of us expected him to be coming out of college.

Looks like Hurns could be inactive due to injury so that's a plus

We wait 10 years to draft a 1st round WR, and have to wait seemingly 10 more for him to get healthy.Very disappointed in Breshad Perriman's rookie year, but injuries do happen of course.

Hopefully he gets in a game or 2 this year, seems like his training camp injury was way worse than we thought accompanied with him aggravating it in pregame warmup and getting surgery.

I'm at the point where I think we should just put [profanity deleted] on IR. I don't even care anymore.

Exactly.  I treat it like Flacco.  When he's out there, he's playing.  Until then, I don't want to hear about him.  He's like Candyman or Bloody Mary until I hear he's suiting up.  Don't even want to hear he's practicing.

Not sure if this has been posted yet.........

Jags have lost 13 straight road games. Longest active streak.

Let's hope the streak stays alive!

That doesn't inspire a lot of faith in me, with what our defence has recently been doing for records like this.

I really wanted us to draft Allen Robinson in 2014. It will be really hard to watch him catch passes against us. :(

yea him and hurns make a dice duo

Hurns, Robinson and Lee are all playing. Good luck secondary. Anyone see that Jimmy Smith is the 98th ranked CB out of 111 qualifiers? Another great contract by the front office.

I'm so 50/50 on this game.

The defense did just enough to beat Philip Rivers last time out, so hopefully that's something they can build on this week.

Either way, I see it being anther back and forth game.

One day, may be a year or two from now, but one day, people here will stop using that excuse. Watch the tape. He has no limitations running and cutting. His play is just not up to par.

It's definitely mental IMO. Looked pretty good in week 1 @ DEN. And then, week 2 came around.

yeah something's not right, I'm just not buying the foot excuse. I mean it may effect him somewhat but once he puts that jersey on and takes the field there's no excuse- you have to produce. I still happen to think it's more scheme...but who knows. We will see if pees remains after this season and if not we'll see next year if he really was the problem.

Not making excuses for him either because he looked good in week 1. I think his confidence had to take a hit after his performance against Cooper and Green in back to back weeks. I want Pees gone after this season, but whether if he's gone or not, this defense needs a change during the offseason.

One year in the recent past....perhaps 2011, perhaps 2012, the Ravens went to Jacksonville and lost the game. I believe Grabbert was QB but wouldn't swear to it.

That team has weapons. They are a Pass Game juggernaut.  Big chucks of yardage and big plays. Robinson, Hurns and Thomas just to name a few.  Their defense has let up some yardage too, but one day their offense is going to play sound and that defensive bleed will trickle.

I don't think we can contain them. If we don't at least we can put this playoff talk to rest.

Can we please get some defensive turnovers? Like CJ get a pick or something?

Lack of playmakers in the secondary is one reason I don't believe we can win this game and why I think Bortles sometimes poor decisions probably won't hurt him much.

Hurns said he is going to play. I'll watch the injury list but I'm contemplating a stack of Bortles and Hurns since both are on my FF squad.

I expect this to be a shootout, both defense's are not great.

Points should fly.......score score score.

Two teams 2-6 come into the ring......only one comes out 3-6......Thunderdome!

I agree with you both (Dom also). Just sick of hearing about his foot. Something isn't right but it certainly isn't an injury. If it was, he wouldn't be on the field because, frankly, he can't be playing much worse than he is.
