Before predictions for 10-6   SEEK 6-6.   Lets aim for the most reasonable goal first.  If we can catch a playoff spot, it has to be games over .500.

The Steelers are now 4-4 and lost their bread and butter runner.  One parameter we and their fans can comiserate upon are  the close losses to the Bengals and the league leading IR count we both share .

Completely Agree.

We get to 6-6, and were in good shape. A 9-7 record has about a 70% chance of getting us in a playoffs as of now, so getting to 6-6 and winning 3 out of our last 4 (as long as we beat Pittsburgh) would be promising.

The NFL really set us up for failure with the first half of the season schedule.

I wonder if it was Ray RIce payback.

Then by that logic, they really did us a favor in the second half of the season with our schedule.

And I was told my most folks on here that late in the season games matter more, so looks like the NFL scheduled favorably for us this season.

Perriman will play soon, maybe in this game. They are nearly done shooting the next reboot of Predator, so his schedule finally opens up for us.

I think this game is going to be a fantasy-lovers-dream shootout. A big turnover late will help tip the scales, and boy is our team (over)due to force one.

Let's go ahead and sign Hakeem, he's gotta be better than marlon.

Gotta be? More like yes he is. Wouldn't mind him at this point.

I remeber reports of him REALLY losing a step, but if the hand are still there i'm game.

But I just don't think he is as bad as Marlon is.

Are you sure he didn't get injured on the set? I hear he does his own stunts

There is not one team left on our schedule capable of blowing us out. Weve been in everygame this year with a chance to win. Why is it far fetched to beleive that we will at least be in everygame for the rest of the season? I refuse to beleive we can be any worse, we have seen the bottom of this team. 8-8 may even get in this year we could be 5th seed!

LOL Thanks for the laugh.

If he doesn't return by the Jags game then I've lost all hope.

Under Harbaugh, how many games have we won against Jacksonville?

without fact checking I can pretty much list 3 times. We play them every 2 years at least it seems.

We're 3-1 against them under Harbaugh, including a preseason game in 2012 (so we're 2-1 against them under Harbaugh), as they beat us in that MNF game a few years back.

I'll always remeber that 12-7 ~ loss to them... Had a bad feeling about that game all week.

I feel like we've lost twice against them. Could be wrong. Seems like we have played to their level or under-estimated them.

Because we beat the Steelers at home with Bell, we lost narrowly to the Bengals at home and Alex Smith. Nothing really screams blowouts based on recent evidence.

Every game moving forward is a must win game for us. One loss and we may mathematically be eliminated. As an aside, this may be the only opportunity for us to swing a trade either for a WR or DB. Let's not sit pat and expect the back ups to win 8 games in a row for us. Let's get aggressive not just on the field but off of it in the front office.
