The good, bad, and really sad, Week 8 edition

203 posts in this topic

It seems that we can never beat the Suns. It's starting to annoy me.

Worse than Chykie Brown? Lol, but I agree. I'm so done with Lewis at this point.

Chykie Brown actually looked good his rookie yea then after idk what the heck happened but yea .. i wish wed bring in frank walker at safety over lewis this dude is a certified bum , he cant do anything , he cant cover nor tackle he always seems to be where the ball isnt like really far away from it i dont think he has any awareness

I dont think i have ever seen our entire team look so bad at tackling, blowing so many tackles.  Each game there is a couple nice stops in the open field by hill, jimmy, or webb.  But seems our team lacks discipline when tackling.

Oh and Campanaro was the next Welker!  Get Flacco some playmakers!!!

Welker didn't do anything his first 2 seasons in the league. Its a 100% injury sport. Everyone gets injured. This was a 3 week injury that sent him to IR because of Periman..

This is why Campanaro will be here for a long time!

Wouldn't doubt it if he's let go this offseason. Dude can't stay on the field and we need receivers that can

Na they would do an injury settlement and do it now if that was their plan. He will be here. Teams cut players due to talent not injury. Otherwise everyone would get cut because everyone gets injured..

He's only played 8 games in 2 seasons and while he's shown flashes of potential we could get a player of equal value who doesn't get injured as often in free agency or the draft.

we should have, because he blossomed for us at the end of the season. But it helps that he's on an already GREAT defense.

your tripping, we can get receivers as good as him? Where are they? Cause we can use them right now

No reason to get rid of him yet.  We can keep 90 players on the roster and Campanaro is hardly making more than any camp body that we'd bring in.  If we get to the cut down date and he's not healthy, then yes, he could be gone.  It makes no sense to cut a player on his rookie contract unless he does something stupid off the field.

He will compete for a roster spot in the offseason but I think Ross and Givens move up the depth chart if (hopefully) Steve Smith and BP are healthy and we add one or two more vets. Then at that point I could see no need for Camp.

I don't see us cutting Camp unless he suffers an injury during roster cuts either. I think he serves for great depth, he just needs to get healthy. I'd really like to see him play a full 16 game season.

Too early to speculate on anything like this being that we have no clue who will be on the roster in 3 weeks let alone in August.

I think it's fair to look towards next season because that will be when Camp is available anyways lol

Lol at the Campanaro fanboys giving me neg after neg. If you guys are fine with oft-injured WR's who occasionally show flashes, then hey, fine by me. But I'd rather have offensive playmakers that see the field for more than four games a season. Crazy, I know.

its not neg after neg its reality. Camp has shown to be a "playmaker" and once he gets the injury bug behind him he could go on and have a great career. don't you want that to happen here since we drafted him? He is a great value player since he is on his rookie contract.

camp is a nice player to have in our back pocket, at least at the bottom of the depth chart...particularly bc he can return

Kicks/ punts as well. However one more serious injury next season in training camp or preseason and I think it would be time to part ways. I just would absolutely be disgusted if another team like the patriots picked him up and he finally blossomed into that high caliber player, and I'm sure many share the same feeling.

And sadly, I can see exactly that happening.

Of course I want that to happen but I'm skeptical that he can be healthy. I'd love to be proven wrong so we will see.

I think that is everyone's view honestly.
