Think About This Raven Team

7 posts in this topic

Here we go tomorrow into undoubtibly a Champion's game against a proven opponent. I have to say that the Ravens did not get here by any team losing thereby defaulting a wildcard seed.

No, they fought and earned the right to play tomorrow!

If you look at the team think of the players. Yeah each team has a superstar or two that added power here or there, but the Ravens as a total team are strong across the board.

Even the punter lowers his helmet and isn't affraid to slam into the secondary for the team!

I am from Baltimore, and for over 40 years I have seen teams from Colts to Ravens play, and I can say I have never been more proud of our team then the one that is going to play tomorrow!

I say take us to the superbowl baby, lets party Raven style!!!!

This team is probably the most together Ravens' team I've seen. The Superbowl team was a far better team I think at least on the defensive sde , but free agency bought that team. If this team can win it all, I'd but them ahead of that team. Just slightly.

Look at the adversity this team has worked through. Nineteen on injured reserve, 5 of them starters, yet they pounded out the wins without retreat. What an undaunted spirit this team has. A real tribute to our own blue collar tradition. I love this team.

I want to thank Brian Billick for all his good times. I also want to thank him for losing against Miami last year(IMO, was his exit out of Bmore that game). Just think if Billick won that game against Miami, we might still have him as a coach.

I don't think we would've drafted Flacco if we had Billick. Considering Flacco is Harb's boy. Boller is Billick's boy, and Troy is kinda of in limbo between both of them.

It just seems that everyone is playing as a whole this year, especially now.

I am enjoying this ride right now, and hope it continues.

GO RAVENS!

Boller was Ozzie Newsome's boy, get it right, along with all the coaches and scouting team who drafted Boller. While I dont question that Billick should have stressed alot harder to draft another QB, It wasnt HIM who pulls the strings on draft day.

Flacco was hard pressed on draft day by CAM, along with Harbs and Hue Jackson ( QB coach ) to bring in Ryan or Flacco, or even Brohm or Henne if the top two jumped off the board.

I can agree that things has changed and I like it. I also liked Billick and think that BOTH needed a change, and Billick needs a Head adjustment ( A OC that he trust ). I hope He finds a good HC job who is a little stricter with how the team is ran. Offense gets ran by the OC and all the coaches at there respective postions, same for the Defense and ST, while Billick looks over all and does only HIS job.

Just my 2 and a 1/8 cent.

Boller was Ozzie's boy on draft day, for his NFL career boller was Billick's boy.
