Ed Reed can't jump into being a defensive back coach right away. I think he would have to start off as defensive back assistant first .

Our secondary has had these issues before Hewitt came into the picture though. So yeah, he could be junk, but to blame him for the same things we've seen since 2012 is a stretch.

Find it amusing that positional coaches are never once talked about until something is going wrong.

 

Pretty rare for a change at a positional coach on a team to make a dramatic difference without changing personnel as well.

When Torrey was here, we talked about his lack of ball tracking skills. How he didn't run crisp routes. That never seemed to change so it could be you're onto something here as well.
