In the replays its clear that the CB completely overran the play.  Steve doesn't even need to push him (and doesn't).

We're in the red kryptonite zone.

The red zone has been an issue for years, from Cam to Caldwell to Kubiak and now Trestman.  Honestly, maybe it's personnel.

I blame Joe for that near pick, but that could certainly be as much on the WR as well. Ross just got dominated off the line in press and was practically carried by the DB into Smith's route, which he looked lost on. Honestly, everyone from the OC to the QB to the WRs were at fault there.
