Suggs nowhere to be found?

If I'm a player on this team I don't want to see our best defender on the sideline in a walking boot and crutches, thats not encouraging at all, its actually depressing.

Lol. How is this even an issue for anyone? I mean he's had surgery and is healing and recovering. He's a few years older and it's a tough injury as is, he has to mentally go through rehab and recovery, while deciding if he wants to put his body through the rigors of another NFL season. That's enough to deal with on its own let alone, stand on the sidelines as a glorified cheerleader hype guy. I remember when Ray Lewis tore the triceps people was asking where is he to give speeches.. While his speeches were epic and he had a unique ability to get guys to give that extra effort. When players are injured they must focus on themselves more than the team, because the reality is injured players, they need to get healthy to secure their jobs.

From our own site:

Suggs was immobilized for at least six weeks after his surgery, which means he wouldn’t have been able to move until about now, even if he had surgery immediately after the Sept. 13 game in Denver.

Thanks! Like I said, no one knew his situation so that info clears that up!

No one was making it an issue. It was an observation and wondering if him being there could help the young guys. That is all. No one was saying they were holding it against him.

are just going to find a reason to bash every player on our roster?

Except Morgan Cox, what a specimen (in every aspect possible)!
