Mock Draft Simulation

260 posts in this topic

The board didn't fall so good for me to get a high profile CB or OT. I tried a home run with Rashard Robinson. Went Ozzie typical with Kelly wanted Tuerk but was long time gone. Floyd is a nice pick up early 2nd if he can put up muscle to his frame.Boyd will be a good chain mover. Went with Deiondre' Hall to play FS. Good value late in the draft tho.

Its too unrealistic some late rounders going high and some 1st rounders sliding in the 2nd. Wish I could have traded some 4th rounders to move up in the 3rd or 2nd.

Alright I use the CBS rankings this team and its more realistic. I also paid the 6$ to be member and be able to make trades. I had to make some trades but I liked my drafted. Not flashy but effective. I wasn't to land ILB prospects so they'll have to resign Darryl Smith or Arthur needs to step up. Orr can be a surprise too.

Got some versatile players on the O-Line that can play multiple positions and effective in zone blocking scheme. Wasn't able to get Suggs or Doom back up so at the end of the day that was an important goal. I'll have to work again on my draft stategies lol. Still got some nice weapons for Joe

I understand this is not really realistic. But this might be my best one so far. Fills a lot of needs. Had to do lots of trades tho lol.

17: R1P17 – CB - VERNON HARGREAVES III, FLORIDA.

36: R2P5  - 34 OLB - KEVIN DODD, CLEMSON

High talent pass rusher will start as a situational pass rusher

50: R2P19 - S/CB.  - VONN BELL, OHIO STATE

70: R3P7 - G - CHRISTIAN WESTERMAN, ARIZONA STATE

Fits our schemes really well. K.O replacement.

73: R3P10 – 34 DE - SHELDON DAY, NOTRE DAME

Brings lots of pressure from the interior. Cantys spot.

75: R3P12 – WR-  RASHARD HIGGINS, COLORADO STATE

Shifty slot WR. The Campanaro we never had because of injuries.

105: R4P6 – CB-  CYRUS JONES, ALABAMA

134: R4P35 – 34 OLB- YANNICK NGAKOUE, MARYLAND

Hometown boy who can learn behind Sizzle/Doom

135: R4P36 – ILB- DEION JONES, LSU

Coverage LB to help on passing downs

178: R5P39 – OT/G-  JOE DAHL, WASHINGTON STATE

185: R6P7 – C-  ISAAC SEUMALO, OREGON STATE.

Can play all positions on the O-Line and Pro ready if the medical checks out. Worth it in the 6th.

I noticed this trend (WR & CB) rated highly but not picked in the drafts I've done on this site. try it again but this time follow the order of needs as suggested by the site, interesting results that way indeed. for example here is what I got following the Draft needs order and top available according to Walter Football (latest update) the site:

Here's my last one... If the Ravens can pull this off I'd be very happy.

6: R1P6  -34 DE- DEFOREST BUCKNER, OREGON (Cantys replacement)

36: R2P5 – CB- MACKENSIE ALEXANDER, CLEMSON (shutdown CB - doubt he falls there)

70: R3P7  -WR- STERLING SHEPARD, OKLAHOMA (stud move the chain WR)

105: R4P6 – G-  CHRISTIAN WESTERMAN, ARIZONA STATE (zone block Guard, will fight with Jensen for starting LG)

131: R4P32  -34 ILB DEION JONES, LSU (coverage ILB to play the passing downs with Mosley)

133: R4P34  - 34OLB-  KAMALEI CORREA, BOISE STATE (needs work but could be a diamond. gotta bulk but pass rush specialist early on)

135: R4P36  -OT- WILLIE BEAVERS, WESTERN MICHIGAN (will probably go out sooner but nice potentiel. will learn behind Monroe)

197: R6P21  -C- ISAAC SEUMALO, OREGON STATE (nice pro ready versatile. can play all positions on O-Line)

210: R6P34  34 OLB- ALEX MCCALISTER, FLORIDA (another project pass rusher specialist)

244: R7P22  -34 ILB- ANTONIO MORRISON, FLORIDA (2 downs LB to play the run beside Mosley - doubt he falls there)

Agreed. Big tree that can easy be cut down at the knees. Now if the new rule causes the chop block to be eliminated then he maybe viable by default. His technique really worries me most. He seems to bend either too early or balance from the angle of attack needs work. Either way it seems to need work. Urban is still a work in progress for us. Adding another in the mix seems ominous. I'd like fluid savvyness or a pure brute style over bang him in the mouth type over what Buckner has shown in the limited film and actual game viewership I've seen. Bucks big but what else does he bring to the table.

LMAO watch his stanford tape. He lifts a 300 pound o lineman off his feet by raw power alone. The kid has brutal strength in his hands. His technique is a little raw still but he is a monster in the making. He should be compared to JJ Watt, he has that kind of potential.

This is the best angle i can find of this play at 2.05 of the highlight tape. Practically used one arm to flip a man. Thats why this kids potential is so high. I honestly wouldnt let him pass me if i was san diego.

Ramsey is consensus top 5 but I see a potential slide un imagined. He will make to us. This is going to be a strange draft? QB's will be hotly sort after. SD already talking of trading out. They want what the Ravens want picks. Watch.
