[News] Former Fan Favorite Jacoby Jones Struggling In San Diego

39 posts in this topic

Still love Jacoby. Just hope he delays busting 1 for a TD for the week after they play us. Miss his goofiness. Fond memories of Jacoby, giving us a few of Baltimore's most memorable, timely and game changing plays in recent years which helped us win the Super Bowl.

Jacoby helped get my favorite win beating Peyton at Mile High. I will never forget that day at the bar. It ended heavenly and shots were flowing.

It doesn't matter what Jacoby has or hasn't done up to this point. Against the Ravens...he'll probably have his break out game and shine like Boldin and Torrey did.

He was liked by a lot of people. It was last year that doomed him here. His decision making on bringing out kicks was just too much. He continually brought out deep kicks and failed to get out even close to the 20yd line which led the offense to work a longer field. Not to mention a couple of muffed punt returns. It's my understanding that he was talked to about his decisions but decided to keep doing it his way.

He may be gone now but nobody can deny that he was a HUGE part in winning the Super Bowl (some say he was MVP). But that's the NFL (Not For Long)

Jacoby would a made a HUGE Difference...in this team. Clifton Brown,Preston all the expert reporters have mentioned it and I say the same thing... Jacoby from jump would of provided explosion in the return game the Ravens havent had, a Gamechanger and a TAKE THE TOP off a Defense Deep Threat. Even though his hands are shaky at best.

Having a true 6'6 deep threat from game 1... Makes turds like Aiken and Brown, look avg atleast..combined with Smith Sr..

This team would be a playoff team.

All they are missing is one playmaker on either side of the ball. Play PITTA. A playmaker.. Since Suggs aint coming back.. Or just tank. Cause they are good enough to lose right now without one or two playmakers more

Always a fan of jacoby. I the picture of his Super Bowl touchdown on my wall with his signed rookie card. I hated seeing him go but understand why. Boy we could use the 2012 Jacoby

You're tempting fate by saying he's struggling. The way this season is going I almost expect him to return one for a TD.

I always liked JJ and hope he doesn't have any bad feelings about Baltimore, it's team or it's fans. I wish we still had him, but it looks like we made the right move, monetarily speaking.

That video reminded me of when we were actually feared on Special Teams and there was always a chance for JJ to take it to the house.

Yea, he will probably struggle like Boldin and Torrey did against the Ravens.

And like Larry Fitzgerald, who was supposed to own us...

If the Chargers cut him the Ravens should bring Jacoby back to boost our special teams and even a Deep threat for this year or next.

I will ALWAYS have a very special place in my heart for Jacoby Jones...... Houston's "trash" was our treasure..... He helped get us to the Super Bowl, and helped us win it, I hated to see him go........

Jacoby was an amazing Raven. And would Definitely be a positive impact playmaker on our team this season. If you've seen any Charger games, He barely gets a chance to return a kick, so to say he's not producing on special teams is not exactly true. At WR, he's never been a a huge producer, but there's Absolutely NO doubt when he lines up at WR, he stretches the field, and Gates and their Slot WR's get free. We could have used his speed, and leadership.
