[News] Eisenberg: Not Too Late To Prove Ravens Are Winners

65 posts in this topic

Or maybe the Ravens are a 7-0 team with a 1-6 record...  Every game we played in was winnable.  Do you really think we'd be losing as many games as we have if we didn't have so many injuries ourselves this year?  Every team at some point has key injured players whose lose is truly felt during games they miss, not just Pittsburgh.  Can anybody say "T-Sizzle"?  And who's to say we couldn't have beat Pittsburgh with Ben?  Everyone thought the Cardinals and Cincy would totally destroy us, but they didn't.  It was right down to the wire.  And if you really think about it, it's the worse QBs that have fared the best against our defense.

I'm also tired of hearing about how we would have lost if the Steelers kicker hadn't missed.  Yea?  Well let's turn that around - maybe we would have won some of these games if we had receivers who could catch.  Or maybe we'd have won some of our loses if we had players that didn't make bone-headed penalty-causing mistakes at critical times.  What about a QB who doesn't throw off his back foot and miss wide open receivers?  Anyway, you get the point.  So, can we please just accept the dang on "win" we got and stop crapping all over it?

Not so fast my friend...we are what are record say we are...1 and 6.

I totally agree.  I was only pointing out that if people on here, Raven's fans no less, can use these "what if" scenarios to say the Ravens should really be 0-7, then we can just as easily turn that around and say we should be 7-0, given how close all the loses have been.  But I agree wholeheartedly - we are what our record says we are which, BTW, does include a win. No matter how we got there, a win is a win - and it wasn't handed to us by the zebras, either.

I just wish Ravens fans would stop trying to concede the one win we got to Pittsburgh.

The Ravens are winners already - just look at the balance sheets of the organization, staff, and players. The Ravens make plenty of money, so they are indeed the winners. However, the resounding question is who are the "real" losers?

Ravens should be able to turn this around, the Chargers are a winnable game and so is the Jaguars. But this 2015 Ravens team is a different animal they know how to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory.

Ravens fan here.

To all my bro-fans who are feeling "positive" simply becaue the Ravens are "not getting blown out every game", wake up. Sure we are not the classic Raiders or Titans, but we are 1-6, should be 0 and 7, and we are a bad team. We are far from a good team, and if you disagree, just ask yourself what would happen if we played the Patriots right now?

My god, it would be 50 - 7. As much as I hate to say it, THATS a good team, a team that puts points on the board, and is not feeling good about themselves simply because "they are in every game". Give me a break, WIN.
