This season didnt look good from the beginning starting with tsizzle going down to torn achilles to our 1st round draft pick periman looking like hes going to be out for the season with the only established Wide Reciever is steve smith sr, Gilmore, boyle and Williams young and bright future at te but still young and no chemistry like he had with pitta, pitta still out, Yes Flacco isnt having the season we would like him to but he has new and young wrs every week no chemistry also lost Mcphee nobody is filling his old role, banged up secondary bringing new players in almost every week to start like wright and davis, injuries have killed us justin tucker falling down twice vs browns and 49ers due to turk that would of been two games of a turning point, browns crazy ankle catch to now c. johnsons run, its just not looking like our year but not ready to give up...ravens nation..

That final play really illustrates we are under a voodoo curse. The refs sucked. The game was in a twilght zone episode.

Pitta's body says otherwise...

Odds are against us.  The actual mojo the team had in 014 is on the other side of  the spectrum with this injured and demoralized crew.   How much more can we take?

Jump ball Joe gets up there at the press conference, and says the same blah, blah, blah every week, but nothing changes. He IS the worst QB in the NFL right now. He is demoralizing this team.

Bring Pitta back next week. Im not watching this team anymore this year.. I will dedicate myself only to the Packers gamesthe rest of the season.(My other team).. Unless Ravens play Pitta next week... Get serious about winning, and attempt to make the playoffs. Otherwise just tank and get the top 3 pick.. And I'll comeback next year.

But atleast put a real team on the field. Pitta next week, bring Perriman back by months end....make a serious push at WC

Watch more games. You'll find at least 20 on a weekly basis playing worse.

Clearly you have no regard for his physical well being.

We will miss you (sort of, but not really).

Our hard working, leave their blood and guts on the field every game are coming home to a rousing (and I mean really rousing) standing ovation that will last for a loooong time. It's well deserved and they deserve no less. Our season now is to build for next year and be spoilers to some of our favorite nemesis...Steelers, Cincy etc. All of which will make the rest of the season enjoyable and well worth watching. Enjoy Sunday, it will be special.

I sold my tickets!

@Rmcjacket, haha..heres to you friend.

But dont say I dont care. Maybe I just believe a MAN is allowed to pursue whatever his heart desires.

And when a Nascar Driver gets in deadly accident nobody tries to force them into retirement, or a stuntman like Jackie Chan breaks nearly every bone in his body before he is not for ed to retire, he just delay a film...

Firefighters dont quit when it gets to hot, etc etc I can go on and on..PITTA wants to plsy he feels healthy let the man PLAY!

Stop with the soft babyish attitude..."oh you dont care" yes I care.... But I know what Pitta wants, and I know if Im in Pittas shoes if they dont let me play football ever again... I would be one PISSED OFF HUMAN BEING!

Its my life my choices.

Let him play

I don't care if that was Pitta running that route or not, Joe clearly over threw Crockett. Crockett was in the perfect position but Joe just lobbed it too far. It wasn't even close to Crockett. Joe just isn't very accurate. Oh sure sometimes he zips it in the right spot but most of the time its underthrown, overthrown or thrown behind the receiver.

Most here are in denial about Jump Ball Joe.

I am convinced that no matter how poorly Joe plays or how risky the decisions he makes are he will still have a huge amount of "deflectors" come out to point the blame at anyone else that was involved in the play including the coach, OC, WR, lineman, ref etc... I've stopped letting it drive me crazy and just accepted it... They want to believe he is our leader and best guy on the team so let them have it...

No way, Joe is in the bottom 3rd of QBs this year easily. Just look at QBR, TD/INT ratio, Comp %, and especially the 2 minute and 4th QTR stats... Basically what your saying is he's top 10, that makes you delusional. He is definitely PART of the problem. Add in the fact he is completely void of leadership and you have a mediocre QB... that once won a SB.

Name 'em!

Tyrod, whoever is starting for the Steelers, McCown, Peyton Manning, Alex Smith, whoever is starting for the Cowboys, Kirk Cousins, Sam Bradford, Nick Foles, Kaepernick, Winston, Cutler, Bridgewater, Stafford, Mariota, whoever is starting for Houston.

Frankly, you can throw Brees, Luck, Tannehill and possibly a few others in there, because they've been highly unimpressive all season long.

Again, watch the games. The QB play mostly league-wide has been abysmal all season long, and Joe Flacco is far, far, far from the worst.

... and then take into consideration what he has to work with and what he's being asked to do. I never look at things like QBR (nobody even knows what QBR is) or completion percentage (an outdated statistic that doesn't correlate with QB success at all).

Void of leadership has always been the fan myth, because fans like leaders who wave pom poms and scream in huddles. That's not leadership.

If we're being completely realistic, there's maybe 6-7 QBs in the league playing well right now. Brady, Rodgers, Dalton, Carson Palmer, and maybe a few other guys like Newton/Ryan/Wilson.

Other than that, QB play league-wide has been mostly garbage. There's nothing remotely impressive about guys like Brees, Manning, or Luck right now, and those are the "name" guys that people will probably classify as better. And the sad part is... they've mostly got high quality players up and down their offense.

So if I take into account that most of these guys are essentially the exact same, and consider what they have to work with and what Joe has to work with, I have no issue with him being in the top third of QBs league-wide right now. Again, I'd encourage people to actually watch the other games and see what other QBs are doing. If you're going straight to the box score for your information, you're already behind in the conversation.

Joe could have took a sack = end of game

Joe did indeed throw the int I just think he was trying to give Gillmore a shot at the ball but overthrew him = end of game.

No excuses but A chance at a player getting a TD or a Sack I like giving the player a chance for a TD better granted the ball was a little high but Gillmore is a little taller.

This comment proves you can't be taken seriously.  The only starting QB's that have a lower passer rating than Jump Ball  Joe are 6-0 Peyton Manning, 6-0 Cam Newton, 3-3 Nick Foles, 3-4 Andrew Luck and 3-4 Sam Bradford.  Although they are not playing well, I guess they do enough to not LOSE the game.  The RECORD says it all.  And guys like Bortles, Winston, Tannehill, etc., who are far outplaying Jump ball Joe, name all the weapons they have to throw to!

couldn't agree more. I would say with the amount of weapons joe is surrounded with ( or lack thereof) it's simply amazing he's on pace to throw for well over 4000 yards. That's pretty impressive if you ask me. With a bunch of no name receivers and a 37 year old with a broken back.

For all you folks saying "Play Pitta". Even if they did play Pitta, it would not be they same Pitta every one is use to seeing from 2012. Pitta has not played football in over a year and is just now starting to practice. He is not in football shape.

1. Nobody cares about passer rating, because nobody knows what it means. Statistics 101... if you can't determine the context of a statistic, how its calculated, or even what it means, its a useless statistic.

2. Judging QBs based on the TEAM W/L record is a lazy approach, nothing more. It just means you haven't put in the time and effort to actually watch football games and form an assessment based on things that actually matter. Hopefully, some day in the near future, fans will come around to this revolutionary idea that wins are a team statistic, not an individual one.

3. Interesting choices for example you chose there... falling right for the bait.

Who does Jameis Winston have to throw to? LOL, o, not much. Just two big, tall, 6'5 WRs who both had over 1,000 yards last season with a combination of really bad QBs. Other than that, not much, LOL.

Who does Ryan Tannehill have to throw to? Just one of the league's best slot receivers who caught 84 balls last season, quality 2nd/3rd receivers like Kenny Stills and Greg Jennings (both would be upgrades on most of our players) and a shiny new first round WR who can actually get on the field.

Who does Blake Bortles have to throw to? A TE who caught 24 TDs the last two seasons, and a bunch of quality, young receivers who would all be #1s on this team and will probably each of over 1,000 yards this season.

And the best part about it... they all have young, quality WRs who won't be retiring after this season. And all three of them have throw 7-8 INTs, just like Joe has.

LOL, yeah, I'd say there's a slight difference in talent around there...

I would just like Joe to do what they said they were going to do the beginning of the season - make teams pay for blitzing. Haven't seen it yet. Still waiting?

I think the Joe Flacco elite question has been answered.

it was answered a long time ago but seems like it resurfaces every year. I agree with gruden- there's no telling how good flacco actually could be because of the lack of weapons and lack of continuity at the OC position. It's not easy man and he's still hangin in there and Doing a heck of a job all the while not complaining or making excuses one bit. He deserves more credit than he gets and he doesn't deserve this much criticism. Sure he could be doing better but it's so blatantly obvious that he is pressing to make plays and forcing things because he has no choice. If he didn't drives would just constantly stall out and he would take sack after sack because nobody is getting open. Then when they finally do get open the protection doesn't hold up and he's got a defender square in his face.

1  Sorry. I was misinformed. Nobody cares.

2  Absolutely.  W-L record doesn't matter.

3  Guess I fell for it.  You got me.  All those great receivers you mentioned.

Joe is our most Elite QB, and if you protect him better and give him 2 targets we could get something going. He's forcing throws now, and losing his cool. Can you blame him? Trestman has got to call a better game. Run some 2 TE sets, get Boyle and Givens more Reps. Steve and Crockett cannot carry the load. I was pulling for Marlon, but he should not be getting time. Put guys in there who catch the ball, and want to be on the field.

That is an amazing pace. Especially combined with the 2-14 W-L pace.  Outstanding!
