I hope Crockett gets more targets in this game.I fell asleep in the 3rd Quarter, but from what I saw it felt like he wasn't even the 3rd progression for Joe in last weeks game. He's the second best playmaker we have in the passing game and we need to find ways to get him involved early and not just in the redzone of 2 minute drives. That's vital for this offense and for his progression as a young player.

I don't think we get blown out this year plus with Gates out I doubt the Chargers put up more than 30.

I can't see the Chargers blowing us out at home. It will be a close game with both teams desparate for a win.

Just checked nfl's website and all of them picked us to win this game. This is a classic "well eventually they have to win" situations. Unfortunately we are playing against rivers who usually breaks Baltimore's heart.

more snaps 4 GIVENS & ROSS, LESS marlon.

But Marlon is a great...

Blocker? That's it. He's a good blocker and that's what we need from our wrs...

Shhhhh!  I'm being optimistic here. :D

Lol!

Newsflash: Bengals are good. I have no excuse for the Browns loss.

My post points out that we STILL lose at home too....so the location of our games don't seem to matter this season.

NFL doesn't work like that

Huh?

Whatever happened to that M&T Bank infallible and invincible Ravens mojo? Did the Brownies and the Bungles steal it before Halloween? Right now, no matter where the Ravens play, the other team is the favorite it seems.

The chargers have the potential for a balanced offensive attack, but they have struggled to run. And I've seen Rivers throw some terrible passes this year (followed by his typical crying and shouting at who ever will listen) but rivers typically is in his game against the Ravens.

I think the Raven's mojo decided to take the season off.

Huh?

Just because we lost to those teams at home does not mean all of a sudden we lose all of the advantages that comes from playing at home

I wouldn't count us out of any game for the rest of the season. Despite the lack of talent/depth, the Ravens have played close games. This one shouldn't be any different.

HOF MLB Ray Lewis is coming to town. Last time he came back(2013) the team played a of better for some reason.(as many teams seem to do when players are honored). This might somehow give us a chance. Hope we don't suck in front of him. Heads would/should roll if we lose home game.

Ok, but that was my point....that playing at home is no longer an "advantage" or "guaranteed" win for that matter.

I won't attempt to reason, speculate or justify my thoughts on this game. If the freakish nature of this season or what has transpired thus far doesn't give anyone pause then maybe the mojo has left the building, the lockerroom, the field and the stadium.

So I'll just say what I always say as a fan..."We Got This!!! GO Ravens!"

Because...the mojo hasn't left me.

With the Bengals ... after losing to them at home last year, this loss wasn't surprising, but hurt.

The Browns? That was IMO effectively the end of our season... and not just that we lost, but how we lost. We had the potential to put a stranglehold on that game and let it go. Then our D fell apart to a hit an all time low never before seen with this franchise.

Hoping for a win.

It is funny how so many seem to NOT be hoping for that. If we win, which I think we will ... it will be ridiculous, but there will be many who will complain about it.

I've said it over and over ... IMO it will be better for us in the long run to see this team get on track, prove that we have many of our positions fundamentally sound for the future and only show to have a handful of significant holes that need to be filled, rather than see us fall apart and appear to have a dozen or so needs.

It will be easier to address a handful of holes with a mid-level pick than a dozen holes with a top pick. Of course, so many have given up completely on virtually our entire roster that no measure of success to finish out the season will give them confidence in our current players going forward.

Last years loss to SD must have put a damn curse on our team. We played that game hard and should have won, save for Rivers marching down the field on our D and throwing TDs to Allen and Royal for the win. Lo and behold this became the theme for this year's season.

Another winnable game if we come prepared and play aggressive. And if someone teaches our D how to play hard in the end and finish games.

That's my whole mindset too despite a depressing season. Every game is winnable, alot of the games were close, we just shoot yourself at the wrong times and fall apart trying to finish out games.
